Do you watch TV?...at all?

I dont really watch tv anymore I might be in the same room with my gf while she's watching some garbage but I've usually got my head stuck into world of warcraft

but back to what I was saying before[/B] not only do I not watch much TV but it...just kind of annoys me, half the time Im just shaking my head about how "dumb" it all is, and its all so...."mainstream" ...and just soooo....stupid (its the ads mainly..especially ads for their crap reality tv shows)

This pretty much sums it up for me. I have tonnes of channels and the only things i watch now are House and The Big Bang Theory, Friends, Scrubs and Top Gear i will watch for a bit if I haven't seen them before. I watch movies etc when they come on tv though, and a few documentaries if i find any interesting ones.

Watch one or two things via pc like Game of Thrones and on BBC iPlayer (but not often).

I still see the value in having a TV. I'd be pretty much lost without my weekend dosage of Sky Sports and Match of the Day (it's going to be a long summer......)

I still enjoy television though, lifes pretty hectic at the moment lots of work and rushing around and when I finally get home I just want to relax. Video games require a lot of focus and attention when after a long day I simply just want to switch off completely and kick my feet up most of the time.

I watch a lot of TV, and I love competitive reality TV. I don't care, game shows are fun! Way too old to be concerned if my viewing is highbrow enough.

Generally have the net up at the same time, though, and I TiVo so I don't watch ads.

I find myself watching less and less TV - especially now that there's no more Heroes, Fringe, Lost, Prison Break, Trailer Park Boys or most of the shows I've been watching over the last few years.

I still watch Dirty Jobs, Big Bang Theory, Peep Show and Ricky Gervais Show - but these days your more likely to find something interesting or funny on YouTube. TV is kinda dead to me now, new American shows are too slow at coming to the UK, and UK TV is worse than it has ever been. I mean, can anyone in the UK testify to the quality of UK TV - every other show is about Essex, or it's a poor copy of some old US show (starring retarded husband, moderately attractive wife, and 2.5 irritating children).

I tell you, it gets so bad during the day here, that the best thing on is often Dharma and Greg - FFS!

I try sometimes, but then I usually find myself flipping through the channels, realizing that there's nothing good on, and turn it off right away. My good tv mostly gets used for my game consoles, and most of the few tv shows I actually watch, I watch on Hulu or Youtube. NCIS, House, certain cartoons, and the occasional movie are about all I still watch on tv, and sometimes I don't even have the patience for those between the terrible commercials and the fact that I have some trouble paying attention to anything that requires me to just sit and stare for long periods of time.

I mostly have the TV for background noise I sometimes watch Comedy Central,Discovery Channel and National Geographic mostly because 99.99% of TV is crap (my sis loves Disney Channel which got a HORRIBLE dub making it unbearable even if it,s just in the background seriously being strapped down and forced to listen to Friday is better then the DC dub) I also don,t like mainstream music (I,m not a hipster I just don,t like MS music) I also hate reality shows (AKA 90% of TV)

90% of what's on Swedish TV is reality shows.[footnote]Yes, I pulled that statistic out of nowhere, it FEELS like 90%...[/footnote] Swedish ones, American ones, British ones... We've even had Australian ones. Any kind of drama, comedy, thriller, etc, comes mostly from across the borders.
