Ah, that's disappointing. Oh well, you can't have everything.

I know I'm basically echoing this from the article, but Steam...on Playstation Network?! How the hell is that gonna work?! Steam was meant to be a digital distribution service for computers, not a consoles!

I'm assuming VALVe did this so PS3 fanboys would stop sending them hate-mail. By that logic, Episode 3 is next so they can stop the PC fanboys who are sending hatemail.

i can understand the xbox, because its basically a pc for people who cant afford gaming pcs, but the ps3? gabe bashed the ps3 several times.

furthermore, he likes the wii, so why no nintendo support now that you have gone multiplat?

Gabes standards are much like any business standard, when the production for a logiceil becomes economically viable, make a service for it and you make money.

In real world terms, I had a friend that was fat and ugly and she wanted to get in my pants, I turned her down because I thought she was fat and ugly....*3 years later*
after a work out and make over said friend is stunning, now the tables are turned and I want to get in her pants.

I also may or may not want to install some form of DRM in her pants that disallows any "foreign" material from entering said pants, on the up side the pants have a great social group.

At least her pants arent made by Ubisoft though.

I nearly chocked when GlaDOS started talking during the presentation. Completely unexpected.

Edit: There is also a reason why you can't just emulate the PS2 on the cell. The architectures are radically different, and the emotion engine has a whole bunch of quirks. [http://pcsx2.net/blog.php?p=2]

I don't really see the upside to this, unless you're a diehard PS3 (and only PS3) owner. It just means Valve has to take longer adapting games for another console, thus lengthening development time and costs. Time and money that should be spent on Half-Life, damnit.

Of course! And once Sony falls, only Microsoft and Nintendo shall remain, as the corpses of a thousand dead publishers rise up from their graves to eat the brains of their opposition.

Don't worry though, they're not unreasonable, I mean you know they won't eat their eyes.
