EA bans another DA2 customer

well thats what you get with all these accounts and steams and achievements and whatever. After i bought something what i do with that is no ones buisiness.
Its not that a guy from sony comes to my home and crushes my new tv with a sledgehammer because i yelled at it because the remote controll didnt work like it should.

OT: I would bet money on him leaving details out. You can tell by the way this is written. He's all information and details, then when it turns to him insulting those people turns suddenly quite vague. I'm not buying it.

He's playing the victim here. It's pretty obvious he's leaving a lot of the details out and is just trying to get people onto his side by claiming he did nothing wrong.

Of course he did something wrong. From the few links I've seen on this thread alone, the guy was a jerk. As evil as people like to make EA out to be, I have yet to hear of them randomly going around and banning people because they feel like it.

When you use their forums, you sign to their TOS. If you cannot follow that TOS, don't post there. It's that simple.

I have to agree. There are always multiple sides to a story, and we're only hearing the victim's side here. He seems like a prick (maybe he's not, I don't know), and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if EA had good reason to ban his account.

..So get a new EA account. Not that hard. Or, you know, appeal. As long as you're not insipid about it, and try reason, EA would probably restore/grant anew. Terms of Service, man. You break the terms, it's still a contract, they can still deny service.

Why is this such a big deal? When I got banned from WoW, I also got banned from the forums. Why can't it work vice versa?

Edit: ok, DA is single player game, but you can still hurt NPCs feelings!

Maybe people should realize not to go around making less than reputable posts in the game site that has the ability to ban them.

True, though the issue is that the site has the ability to stop you from playing the single-player from a game you bought with out reimbursement.
