Exactly. Speaking as someone who has actually used Origin (for the BF3 beta), it's actually a solid little Digital Distribution platform -- kind of somewhere between GoG and Steam in terms of how much of a pain in the butt it is, being slightly less of one than Impulse -- it's much better than any online platform Nintendo has ever made, is what I'm saying. The only reason anyone dislikes it is because of the spyware clause in the EULA, but let's be honest here: that's only an issue because Origin is, so far, PC only. With the consoles, whatever company manufactures the system knows what hardware and software you're using at all times anyway; that clause is par for the course in Console land.lacktheknack said:Actually, I don't see this being a bad thing. The main problem I have with Origin is the invasive data farming on my PC, but that wouldn't be an issue on the Wii U (what with the hardware all being the same and stuff, and all the software being games).
D: oh noes you can get in trouble for suggesting that all the 'Cool kids' pirate a rubbish piece of software thats free????Chemical Horse said:You shouldn't have said that.innocentEX said:Pfft all the cool kids Pirate OriginSeventh Actuality said:Wow, two redundant pieces of shit for the price of one!
