From Wikipedia: "Edge Games has not released a new title since 1994".

Dear Edge Games and Tim Langdell,

No one - repeat, NO ONE - gives a flying fuck about your company or you. You are, without doubt, the most pathetic man I have pretended to write a letter to in all my life.

Anyone with a left testicle of sense will tell you that the word "edge" is not copyright-able, and that you should give up your pathetic escapades right now, you stupid stupid c*nt.

Yours truly,

The L.TIL. (Left Testicles of Intelligence League)

EA aren't suing anyone, so I don't know where you got that idea from. Edge Games are suing EA over the usage of the word "Edge", which is nothing new in gaming, and as thus EA are the defendant.

EDIT: Sales don't come into it at all. The fact Mirrors (Edge Game's... "game") hasn't sold more than a handful of copies at most just makes the case more pathetic.

This is just proof that the current legal system needs to be revised and redone.
If the law allows people to do stupid shit like that then there's something wrong with it.

Can I ask what the hell Edge Games have actually made? Ever? All I've heard from them is repeated lawsuits over common nouns?
This reminds me of that futurama quote:
"Mom, Love and screen door are registered trademarks of Mom corp."
[sub]Is your avatar for Captain hammer by the way?[/sub]
Yeah it is. I absolutely love Dr. Horrible, and Nathan Fillion in general.

Actually, the fact that Edge Games' game may in fact not exist at all makes the case not just pathetic but actively fraudulent.

(Go on, try and actually buy a product from them.)

Edge Games? Never heard of 'em.
Still wish I hadn't after reading that article.
What kinds of words could I possibly use to describe the sheer magnitude of raw stupidity?...

You make a good point, I like to think that if you buy something from them, all it will be is a court date. I had thought edge games had perhaps faded away into the nether but sadly not. I'm surprised that he's going for a giant like EA, thats quite ballsy I think.

In any case, I hope EA brings an end to all of this by throwing edge games a beating in court.

I mean I play mirrors edge and i love it but I'm not quite sure whats going down between these two companies.

Those guys at EA should be on edge, but Tim Landell seems pretty mad, on the edge of sanity. Maybe he should just get drunk, take the edge off.

I'll think of more later. Suprised he hasn't tried to sue futurepublishing. Here in the UK they sell a gaming magazine called "Edge" that sells reasonably well.
