And Trump claimed 2016 was fraudulent too and he did nothing to fix anything in 4 years. He's really just doing this now so if he tries again in 2024, he can use this whole "2020 was stolen!!!" as his campaign slogan and get money from people as well.
He won't survive to 2024 if he steps down.

You know you can install software or run scripts from thumb drives, right?
Fucking obviously, but the presence of one doesn't mean a script was run or software was installed, and a machine can even have protections on it to prevent that very thing.

Didn't one of you argue about secure data practices and say it was right for someone to stop another from making handwritten notes about suspicious ballots?

But you're all okay with a usb drive, the contents of which are a mystery, being plugged into voting workstations? Haha, okay.
That was me! Because there are far fewer available protections for the former.

A USB drive could be vetted and prepped by an organisation beforehand, and could have limited applications. A handwritten note you've taken specifically from an electoral machine, not so much.

The presence of one should be troubling on its face. If the election is supposed to be so IMPORTANT that you can't disenfranchise ANYBODY, why should you have mystery USBs being taken in and out of the building at all?

You think that would fly in any other secure environment? Or are USBs less dangerous than a scrap of paper?

But there wasn't a mystery usb - they said what it was. You posted it.

Would that be because his violent, psycho fans would cannibalize him in a fit of betrayal or because he's an obese, rage-aholic septuagenarian who eats like a goat?

Oh, okay, so if someone in authority says that it's safe, then that means it's safe. Yes, of course.

Oh, ok, so if someone in authority says that there is fraud, and this person needs there to be fraud to retain their authority/power and this person has had a history of crying fraud whenever they lose something, then that means there must be fraud.

Yes of course, that and about a hundred affidavits.

Better question: Do you even know what you're claiming at this point? Because I don't think you've actually given it any consideration. You're just so desperate to find any reason to justify Trump and his base's temper tantrum that you lap up any and all bullshit they feed you uncritically and not only without vetting it, but apparently without actually thinking about it. At this point you are alleging that there there was a conspiracy between Dominion (which is erroneously conflated with Smartmatic or otherwise conspiring with them), the poll workers, the election officials, the executive branch of multiple states (including ones controlled by Republicans), the judiciary of multiple (if not all) states (including several Trump appointees), postal carriers, the OSCE, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and even the Department of Justice and Barr himself. Do I even need to explain how ridiculous that is?
I don't know what's more ridiculous; that conspiracy theory or refusing to accept that the majority of Americans don't want Trump to keep being the POTUS. Probably the latter begets the former.

A load of reasons:

1) Once someone has lost they are "tainted" by defeat
2) As president he's a focus of support that he won't be as a citizen - there's less reason to stick up for him
3) Challengers will more aggressively step forward
4) He's likely to be embroiled in scandal (e.g. fraud)
5) The fervour fades with time

They seem to like to not show anyone those hundreds of affidavits. And you can tell they have nothing because all the court cases are being thrown out, hes like 1 for 39 by now. He is lying scum and anyone who would believe trump is an idiot.

To be fair, the majority of Americans didn't want Trump to be president in the 2016.

You haven't been watching the hearings, both the unofficial and the official ones. All of them are shown. Every witness trotted out has an affidavit to go along with their testimony. And these are events that last 7 or 8 hours each. There have been three of them so far. So yes, they have very much been shown.

What we need to remember is that these are 100 affidavits... of approximately 100 separate incidents: one feeble claim per alleged incident that cannot be verified by other facts. Like, "Here's a video of a guy doing something with a USB drive! BOOM!" Er... okay then.

I mean, you can find 100 people who said they were abducted by aliens and will describe their experience. Few think it's a compelling proof aliens exist.
