I don't know about anyone else, but for me I started off thinking I would never even make the leader board. Then I saw I was only about 20 points away and got hell-bent on doing it. That was back when the 20th rank was held by people with like 41 points. To look at it now and see it made of all 120+ points is astounding. Congrats to all of us for keeping up with such an intense pace, especially Vamantha who broke 200.
Sorry about that; I tend to forget that tone of voice doesn't carry over the internet. It appears I gave off the wrong impression. I wasn't actually offended, and meant for that first sentence to be taken in jest (rereading my post though has made me realize how poorly worded it was). So just to clarify, I wasn't trying to call you out on your post, and I'm certainly not offended. On the contrary, you've actually been one of the friendlier posters which is saying something considering how friendly everyone else has been as well. Thank you. Honestly, I think I was doing what everyone else was doing. I just had a lot more dedication to do it. You all had dedication, but I was in a lot of pain and I just used the contest to focus on and forget how much pain I was in. When the pain was up I was like I have a quest to complete! I have no idea how I'll react if I win first prize, but we'll find out tomorrow.Caramel Frappe said:

Hell man, I'm sorry people tried to blast you over this. It might not mean much, but I'm pretty sure that all of in the top 20 are really happy for you and respect the work you put in. For me, I felt like you were raising the standard which pushed me to keep going. I'm still curious where you found the cache of Undead Monster badges you alluded to. I was happy when I found the Badge Hunters Group (lots of members going after every single badge!), but that soon subsided after finding out there weren't many active members. Honestly, I went to users, then to users in the USA and started down the list. I went through a total of about 200 pages of the main page. In the thousands for actual user profiles. I spent hours doing this. x3 I also would save a couple badges with badges away in my bookmarks so if I really needed them (like in the end) I could just click em.eugaet said:
Yeah, I've been having a lot of dental and health problems lately. I had a root canal on the day of the contest I think. I was on antibiotics (amoxicillin) and they really upset my stomach and some of my other pain got in the way. I'm really grateful for a great boyfriend to take care of me during all this. I'll certainly need all the luck I can get, it's so intense just waiting around and usually I think waiting is the relaxing part of any event haha.
