Well I checked the Shining Dragon link, I cannot understand Japanese nor will attempt to try so I clicked the little gold emblem thingy towards the bottom. It led to a gallery, about 12 only slightly gratuitous, nothing to go wild about.

Edit: Just watched a gameplay video don't ask, panty shots and some boobage that's about it.

...wait, what? It got rated "M", and they figured that was a killing blow? Maybe if it was rated "AO", but this is just dumb...

Maybe they can solve this problem by just not making pointless, perverted games like this in the first place.

Remember, it's the US. The only western nation that is more sexually oppressed than the Middle East. Where I can blow up the world with blood and guts everywhere and show it on TV, but the instant someone sees a bare ass I have to either digitize it or cut it out of the movie.
Dude I think you're exaggerating.
Not really, i hate the FCC

It really is lowest common denominator developing, I have to say.
It's based on a manga/anime franchise, so they're really just appealing to the fans more than any lowest common denominator. Of course those fans could be considered that, I suppose.

The anime is terrible, so you would be right. Ashamedly, I bought the first DVD many a year back. It's still boxed away in the loft to this day, forever eating away at my conscience.

It's hardly surprising the game isn't exactly the height of sophistication then...

Why you would want to have a fighting game feature naked females? Wouldn't it be hard to masturbate while mashing buttons on a controller?

You obviously haven't had enough practice. :)

Sadly, if anything, it would be an understatement. There would also by an outcry from mothers everywhere, demanding that the government come up with a pill that can let things be unseen.

And a politician in Texas trying to make a law about women in video games.

Maybe a little. Sure, what asinann said never happened, but as some examples of our sexual opression that treats it as worse than violence I'll give you two examples. Mass Effect stirred up tons of controversy because of a 5 second long non-explicit sex scene because of a bare ass, and you could be a dick in that game, sure they didn't get an AO rating because of it, but god dammit did you see the anger twoards it? As for a closer example, GTA SA got an AO rating for the PC because if you're a hacker you could get a sex scene, and in this game you have to be a dick and sometimes shoot civillians for fun. I think a hacked sex scene< or equal to a second of bare ass so, asinann was right.

nothing wrong with this getting an M rating. the problem isnt with the rating its with the stores that automaticaly wont sell any game with an M rating.

im not against games like this at all, but i dont see that we need to sell something like it to 12-14 year olds either. atleast not without their parents consent.

When comparing to countries that kill you if you walk outside without a male sibling or are not completely covered in a garbage bag, US is a nest of liberals.

Do you even need to know Japanese to play those games? It looks just like another brawler to me. Anyone who really wants to play the game can always import (or put on their eyepatch).

I'm...vaguely disappointed. I haven't heard much good about the anime, but I've been interested in looking for the manga for a while now. I mean, come on, Romance of the Three Kingdoms re-enacted with Japanese schoolgirls is like, the guilty pleasure to beat all guilty pleasures (short of pornography).

Still, what little I've seen of the game didn't impress me much.
