Been there, been hurt by it, and still know it to be the most brilliant sensation on earth.

Best time ever was when I was intentionally trying to NOT fall for someone, and I did anyway. Worst time was losing that person.

Take love for what it is, and enjoy it while you can mate.

I've been numerous times. I'm very foolish and clingy when it comes to relationships, constantly telling myself not to fall in love but doing so all the same...

Love is nothing more than a legal drug. Your brain releases chemicals when you are around someone you are infatuated with. Heartbreak is just withdrawals. My advice is don't fall in love and just do heroin, lots and lots of heroin. It's safer.

Nopes, not that I know of. I think I caught a hint of it once before as it floats around me slightly but I don't believe it fully.

Its definitely not love right now, but something has recently just happened to me.

This girl that Ive always found cute and just recently started to get to know her has just come up pretty strong in my life. Now I have only been talking to her for about a week, but we really have hit it off. And on her facebook profile, I noticed that she had posted a song to one of her friends (girl, and she is not gay).

Basically, I am the worlds most pessimistic person when it comes to realtionships. As soon as I see someone start talking to another guy, I immediately lose all hope. But, like I said, we have really hit it off. I can already joke and call her a prostitute while she does the exact same.

But this is what really got me. This video she posted. And I kid you not the first lyric in the song (which is amazing, by the way) is "Know its only a week, and I can't help but wonder if there was a spark"

I honestly feel like an idiot if I dont do something. I just have this condition where I have no balls(not literally).

If you want the song, go ahead and ask. Ill PM you.
DO IT! DO IT! FUCKING DO IT! Act fast, and if she is even moderately romantic TELL HER EXACTLY WHAT YOU TYPED HERE! Because you seriously just yanked on my heartstrings.

OT: I have been on the verge of love many times but because I fear rejection to such a massive degree that it has evolved into a disorder, I have always talked myself out of love and relationships in general; I have always formed friendships with females, and I don't want to throw that away by pushing the relationship boundries. And yet I love the idea of love. Oh, well.

Yes, yes I am. And I know she loves me back, as someone mentioned earlier in the post, it just feels... right.

But we've been together for 5 years, so.... and lived together for 3. :p

Currently. And yeah, following everyone else who seems to know what they're talking about; if you have to ask if you feel more, you're not in love.

I was in love once.

I met her at the shop I was working at. I was 9 at the time, and she was 14, but I took her home with me (along with her creepy friends) to meet my mom. I wish I didn't have to deal with her friends, though. One of them pricked me to take a blood sample without asking me! Anyway, I impressed her by winning this one race, but then she had to leave all of a sudden. Good thing her older gentleman friend has a thing for little boys, or else I wouldn't have been able to tag along. Apparently the guy was from some sort of religious order, and they wanted to convert me. Whatever.

Love's a *****. Enjoy being a bachelor for as long as you can.

I'm 16, was in love once with the kindest girl there ever was. Of course, kindness doesn't automatically mean she's good with commitments, or love at all. I learned that the hard way after 3 months of radical joy and depression.

I agree with lostzombies - if you have to ask if you're in love on a message board, you really aren't. Only you can tell, though. Be realistic, though - hope for the best, but expect the worst. At twenty years old, that's good advice.
