On the topic of AC2 the "requies ca impace" or whatever phrase he says when standing over the corpse of someone recently assassinated got stuck in my head for a while.
It's actually "Requiescat in pace" latin for rest in peace ;)
Which I've found to sound a bit weird, since it literally translates to "may he rest in peace". You'd expect Ezio'd be talking to the person he's just killed instead of just about him.
I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING! For how long have you/did you study latin?
For about 6 years.

It's possible this phrase was not directly meant for the dying/dead, but rather directed at God, asking him to let the person in question rest in peace. Considering the Roman-Catholic context to it (in reality), that would be entirely possible.

I found the most unintentionally memorable quote for me to be pretty much everything the chinese soldiers said in Fallout 3, which I can not properly quote, as I do not speak Chinese.

There was also an instant where an NPC used the "He must be out to meet a lady!" line. It probably would have been much less impactful if it wasn't a Follower of Romulus who was watching me escape inside of a catacomb, after I just killed eight of his friends.

How is Heavenly Sword?

I only played the demo, and thought it was okay...I hear the story is really good, though.
Heavy Sword is a hell of game. It's better than GoW because the combat system is better and there's more to it. Certain enemies require certain combos to take down, you can't button mash. You gotta switch stances to properly block and take out enemies. You actually use the stance that fights like Kratos the least so I don't see why everyone says GoW clone. The aerial combat system is interesting and different. The counters are really cool and the super moves are awesome. The story and characters are great, the ending is really epic. The only flaws to me are that the game does feel too short and the combo list isn't quite as expansive as it should've been.

From the movie Lets Go to Prison the phrase:

Albeit ever so humble.
Really stuck to me, so much so that it's now painted above my door.

Huh, it's weird, I can't remember anyth-ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

Also, disingenuous assertions and people who have had enough of them.

And, obviously, from the beginning of the second CoD - any line said by the Commissar in the very first mission. The accent just kills me.

"Hey Cracka! What'cha doing in there!?"

"What? They're letting you dopeheads in the FBI now? God Bless America!"

Both by Mad Jack from Heavy Rain.

(British accent required to understand)
"Surely, you must be kidding me."
"I'm serious. And DON'T call me 'Shirley'..."

From CoD 4 I think.

In my group of friends, if you get cornered in a debate or just run out of things to say, the appropriate response is "HERBERT MOOOOOOON!"

and for my quote:
"Father, can you bring me back a sward?"
-from the painfully british kid in the human noble background in Dragon Age

EDIT: oh, and "DAMNIT SHEPHERD! THOSE MEDIGEL AREN'T FREE!" even when you aren't using medigel

The cake is a lie.

It has no right to be memorable, it wasn't funny, it wasn't interesting but people won't shut the hell up about it.
"The cake is a lie" is a very strong phrase (in context). Just imagine the amount of test subjects that managed to escape from the Aperture labs to realize that the only truth they ever believed was a lie. I mean, these were people "bread" to be rats in a maze.

Now, if you take it out of context, some people find it amusing. I don't.
