Fable 3 Needs to Earn $150 Million to Prevent "Withering"

True! Though, I remember Fable 1 not running very well on my PC either.
Come to think of it Black and White didn't run that great as well.

I think lion head just sucks at making engines.

Now that you mention it, both black and whites still ran like crap when I went back to them with more than five times the computer I had originally.

I didn't think much about fable chugging hard in random places because I had kindofa crap PC when I played it, but still insisted on maxing out all visual settings.

Good god please don't remind me of Black and White 2. There was a bug I had where the enemy creature and troops would magically noclip through my walls and attack me. Man that really annoyed me.

At least those games are still good and entertaining (especially Halo 3). Fable took forever to come out and became mediocre and Fable 2 was boring as hell. The disappointment with both games comes just short of Too Human. It's basically becoming a Too Human where they're spending millions of dollars to become even a below average game.

Well, I loved the first Fable game and then the second game was even better. Fun gameplay was the main point, and I'm a fan of both adventure games and RTSs(though I doubt the monarchy bit will be like Total War), so I should enjoy this one.

And at least it's not another FPS with all of the brown filters turned up to eleven where you play as a gravel-voiced douche.

Peter is such a goober. 150 mil for one game is such a freakin huge number, and granted, Fable might actually make it, but saying that it 'needs to make this much money' is a bit presumptuous, don't you think? It's like if Blizzard said as soon as they released WoW: "We need to have 10 million subscribers someday." They made that number, but still, saying how much you 'want' a game to make is still pretty weak in my opinion.

Nothing's wrong with hoping your product sells that much, but saying it needs to sell that much to succeed as a franchise is stupid as hell.
