Fallout 4 rumored to be Xbox One exclusive

Well, I dont buy Bethesda's games on consoles anyways, have much more fun with adding mods to them. So if this is true (which I doubt)... fuck...

There's no way they'd even get a timed exclusive on the game. I think we can all expect Microsoft to throw enough money at them so they get a timed exclusive for the dlc, but certainly not the entire game.

If they do get the whole game exclusively, then Bethesda just backstabbed it's most loyal fanbase.

Yeah, all my Bethesda games now (FO3, Skyrim) and the rest of the Fallout games are on my PC now. Every since my second Gears 3 edition 360 kicked the bucket (after a year of owning it), I disowned that system entirely and sold off all the games.

I don't want to get an Xbone. I'ms sticking with PC and PS4 gaming come next season.

But if this is true... someone is at Microsoft or Bethesda is going to have to die!

Bethesda has a tradition of Xbox favoritism. Usually in the form of timed exclusives.
It'll probably be out on the non-Xbox systems like a month to six months after it comes out on the XBox.

I seriously doubt that Bethesda is stupid enough to saw off one of its financial legs just to get a bonus from Microsuck. Stranger things have happened however. All I can say is thank goodness for Wasteland 2.

A friend of mine said that the next Elder Scrolls was rumoured to be Xbone exclusive as well.

Of course, this is all definitely rumour at the moment, but it would be a hell of catch for the Xbox One if true.

But then what do Bethesda have to gain from making it exclusive? Surely they would make tonnes more money putting it on all the platforms possible.

The only possible way this happens is if Microsoft pays them around 50 Million to do it exclusively (actually probably more.) It is the only way this makes sense. Which means Microsoft would actually lose a great deal of money on this deal, hoping to gain back that lost money by sales of Xbones and related things. I seriously doubt this is actually going to happen.

A stable version of New Vegas would ruin my productivity.

Yeah, Bethesda is buddy-buddy with Microsoft, but not buddy-buddy enough to fuck over fans of Fallout on both PS3 and PC.

I know PC fans would flip shit if they found out that they wouldn't be able to play/mod the hell of the next Bethesda game because it would be a console exclusive. I can only see a massive backlash from that kind of decision.

Well that's fucked that if its true, looks like no Halo or Fallout for me next gen. Bethesda have been cuddling up to Microsoft already with the Skyrim DLCs, damn what if the next Elder Scrolls is Xbone exclusive too? I am gonna have nightmares.

I have a feeling the next Elder Scrolls is a PC exclusive
mainly because it is hard to imagine a MMO on a Console.

Well, this probably wouldn't affect me too much (since I'm one of those terrifying proto-humans that's still planning on eventually getting an Xbone), but still, This is probably BS. There's no way Bethesda is that stupid. They'd be cutting out a MASSIVE portion of their customer base (perhaps even more than usual, since it appears that many Xbox owners are jumping ship next generation), and they want that cash.

So, yeah, not putting much stock in this rumor.

Nope, no way, Bethesda wouldn't do that. Maybe it wouldn't come to the PS4 because of the issues their games usually have, but it'd definitely come to the PC at least. They make way too much money from their PC fanbase, and the modding community is a huge part of their audience, that I find this completely and totally unfounded.

Now, a Fallout TITLE exclusively on Xbone? Maybe, but definitely NOT the true sequel.
