Nah, I don't buy that. The PC version with its active modding community has always been the mainstay of the Elder Scrolls games. And Bethesda have been strong PC publishers for a very long time. I doubt there will ever be an Elder Scrolls game without a PC release. It might be exclusive to Xbone as far as consoles go, never appearing on PS4, but I can't see Bethesda destroying their best known franchise by keeping it off PC.Andy Shandy said:A friend of mine said that the next Elder Scrolls was rumoured to be Xbone exclusive as well.
Of course, this is all definitely rumour at the moment, but it would be a hell of catch for the Xbox One if true.
But then what do Bethesda have to gain from making it exclusive? Surely they would make tonnes more money putting it on all the platforms possible.
If they got billions I'm pretty sure they would do it. That's some crazy money right there. I sincerely doubt it though. Bethesda have always made their games either multiple platforms or PC exclusive and they wouldn't block out and entire facet of their audience, it would be commercial suicide. Gamers are so easily infuriated and this would be a legitimate reason for them to get angry so I know that they won't do it to themselves. However if they are offered Billions, I suggest that they take it. Everyones christmas bonus would be insane.TheYellowCellPhone said:![]()
There is no logical way that would ever happen. Even if Microsoft paid Bethesda millions or billions just to get the one game to be an exclusive, they still wouldn't do it. It'd be suicide for the company.
There's still a difference in terms of games available and hardware optimization. I use my mac to run music and video editing programs, so no thanks. I would like a how-to on wineskin however.Evil Smurf said:AhemThoughtful_Salt said:Well damn, I guess I have to get an xbone then. Oh well. It's not like I have a pc anyways, just a 360 and a mac.
PC means Personal Computer. Is this Mac your Mac? Yes? You have a PC. Furthermore you can run windows on it natively with bootcamp. I can walk you through it if you want.
I don't use wineskin because it confuses me. I use Parallels desktop and bootcamp for my no OSX things.
