gee as long as they let you create a auto lock pick tool i'm really looking forward to fallout nv...
I never really though lock picking was that big of a problem in fallout, I think it was far easier than the completely annoying system in Oblivion. Though I think they should have a system where you can try to blow away/ open a locked item with a gun or melee weapon with the downfall being that the items contained inside could be damaged if they were fragile things.

Wow, this has actually made me interested in FNV. I mean it feels kinda funny in Fallout3 to be walking around carrying about 100 missiles and a couple nukes.

I think most Bioware games, when you try to bash the thing open you run the risk of damaging it.
No it was a JRPG.

I remembered, btw. INFINITE UNDISCOVERY!

Holy crap, yes! I just hope they have more outfits... Or that someone mods in something cute I can wear... Yes, I wear ribbons in my hair and elegant coats when I kill my mutants...

Now if they can just fix the crappy animations that seem like they were just ripped from Morrowind then I'd be more excited. Nothing more immersion breaking than Bethesta games and moving around. Sure the facial expressions are neat but go 3rd person...blah.

hardcore mode that is so 90's :l
Good, most of my favourite games are from the 90s.

From the sounds of it, I think I'm going to be playing on this mode from the first play, depends on other things such as the lockpicking/hacking differences, but I'm happy with difficult combat and stimpaks healing over time.

As long as no achievements are linked to it, I'm cool.
SERIOUSLY! DON'T LINK HARDCORE TO ANY ACHIEVEMENTS!
It'll probably be the equivalent to getting an achievement for beating a game on Insanity or whatever the hardest difficulty is.

O think it'll be pretty cool. It may get annoying quick though.

I wonder how long it will be. Fallout 3 was a bit too short imo. And yes, it was incredibly easy.

Yay, more FNV information! Seriously, I don't care what info they give out, I'll drool all over it regardless. New weapons? *drool* Hardcore mode? *slobber* Minute tweaks to damage multipliers? *flood of saliva*

I really don't think I'd be any good at hardcore, but I'll definitely give it a go. I mean, I'm going to suck all the value out of FNV as I can anyway.

Why not? Would it be to hard for you?

Achievements are meant to be for doing something that not everyone would do, or something insanely cool, or something hard. If every time a game was announced with a harder setting and achievements for that harder setting never happened I would barely play that setting unless I wanted to annoy myself.

Not hard. Just annoying as balls. I'm the master of inventory management, so the ammo weighing me down wouldn't matter. I play stealth, so the slow healing isn't a big deal, either. But it'd just be annoying as fuck.
