It's the song. I could boil water to that song and it would make it epic.
I'll pay you $10 to do it, film it, and put it on Youtube.
I will definitely take you up on that if you want.
Sorry. Keane's already on it. :(
That sounds like a damned good premise for a very awesome contest...
What? Doing mundane shit to theme songs and see what happens? hmm.. now that you mention it..

I could see something like.. chopping an onion to the original Power Rangers theme..

I'm curious where this was shot. My first thought was New Orleans since he moves uphill at one point and comes to a large body of water. Is that information posted anywhere?

Very good video. That roll at the end just made it even better. Seeing this video I must now go and play Mirrors Edge all over again.

The moves were great, but it was the transitions between shots that really made it look like Mirror's edge. The part where he hops onto the pole and the shot changes was great.

Mad props for the maker of that video, here's hoping he gets his hands on a proper head cam so he can wow us with the use of two hands!

And anyone who likes this video should seriously google David Belle or just watch some of his Youtube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01du2W6VJis

I question whether the dice thing was real or just abit of cool camera work, however it was awesome and gets an awesome plus if the dice thing was real.

Whats more awesome than a firstperson view of the guy doing that? A firstperson view of the guy doing it all ONE FREAKING HANDED!

No idea what the cup+dice thing was though...

Other than that, aside from the shakycam, a damn awesome freerunning video.

A glove-wearing traceur? pussycat.
Maybe his girlfriend doesn't like palm calluses? I'm speculating here.
If he does this kind of thing a lot, and I imagine he does if he's that good at it, he'd probably want gloves for both grip and so he doesn't tear up his hands. Even people who lift weights at a gym are very careful not to tear callouses on their hands, as it can put them out of commission for more then a week as it heals. They may use some form of chalk, or are just very careful with how they grip (moreso then a person doing parkour has time for) instead of gloves, but you still want to protect your skin when doing any kind of repetitive heavy lifting.

He was also using his left hand for pretty much everything, which I imagine increases the stress quite a bit, rather then both hands.
True but I figured if I said something like that he'd come back with some shit about him not being good cuz he needs gloves or something like that :p
I use weightlifting gloves when I do parkour...course I'm not as good as this guy :S

I need a place to do this. I can climb and run pretty well, but I don't really have anywhere to do it.
