You see, it's things like this that made me decide to take up parkour. I'm nowhere near as epic, sadly.

At this point in time, that is.

That is the coolest thing I have seen all week. Not only the Parkour but the dice trick and the skateboarding really added to watching that. Best part is he did it one handed, that's gotta make it much harder, props to that guy.

Wow, that was really cool. My favorite parts were the bike and the dice (I don't care that it wasn't in the game, that's pure awesome).

That was awesome, I can't believe he did it with one hand!

A glove-wearing traceur? pussycat.
Maybe his girlfriend doesn't like palm calluses? I'm speculating here.
If he does this kind of thing a lot, and I imagine he does if he's that good at it, he'd probably want gloves for both grip and so he doesn't tear up his hands. Even people who lift weights at a gym are very careful not to tear callouses on their hands, as it can put them out of commission for more then a week as it heals. They may use some form of chalk, or are just very careful with how they grip (moreso then a person doing parkour has time for) instead of gloves, but you still want to protect your skin when doing any kind of repetitive heavy lifting.

He was also using his left hand for pretty much everything, which I imagine increases the stress quite a bit, rather then both hands.
normally wearing gloves isn't that helpful since being able to feel the obstacle is important, also his gloves looked quite thick which would have limited his dexterity, though in his case he would need to maximise protection and grip since he's only using one hand.

That guy is awesome.

impressive really amazing. oddly enough what made me drop my jaw was the bicycle stunt.

and to the people suggesting parkour to become fit, you have to keep in mind that not every area is exactly parkour friendly, where i live it is a terrible place for parkour. i would much rather have that the state created some playgrounds for "adults" or at least fully grown people

the only thing holding this back i think is the stereotype that playgrounds are for kids

what do you think?

I hope this is multiple people. No one should be allowed to have this many skills. The cup stuff was just taking the fucking mik.
Ditto. All those tricks were amazing, cup tricks, bike tricks, skateboarding, getting the "returning card trick" to work properly, and the free-running, no-one should be able to do all that.

(Not that I'm jealous or anything :p)

I think my favorite part was just how he did the transitions like in some of the Mirror's Edge trailers: just an instant cut to a similarly oriented but totally different scene, so it looks like you teleported during one of the crazy parkour moves or something.

It's the song. I could boil water to that song and it would make it epic.
I'll pay you $10 to do it, film it, and put it on Youtube.
I will definitely take you up on that if you want.
Sorry. Keane's already on it. :(
That sounds like a damned good premise for a very awesome contest...
What? Doing mundane shit to theme songs and see what happens? hmm.. now that you mention it..

I could see something like.. chopping an onion to the original Power Rangers theme..
I'm gonna go get my rocky balboa music and some baking supplies.

To be honest, I would so like to die by doing freerunning on rooftops. Even if all I accomplish would be jumping off and fail to grab a ledge.
