MMO developers these days need anything that can to attract more players. Jiggle physics is serious bussiness decision.thirion1850 said:Aye. You'd think jiggle physics would be a more pressing matter, but apparently people need more gore with the tits.Okay show of hands: Who else thought this would be related to the dress-code?
Actually that's the European standard, which works in complete opposition to the US standard; while North Americans flip their shit at the mere mention of a partially exposed nipple, parts of Europe (and my beloved country in particular) hit the brakes if developers dare making a game with more blood in it than could result from a scraped knee.RT-Medic-with-shotgun said:So lemme get this straight. 9 year old girls in their underpants is okay but the blood had to go? 9 year old girls in fox ears and underpants but its the blood that is the issue. REALLY!? This is the one time not a single fuck was given about sex in video games?
Actually, their armors are already censored a bit, mostly by adding pants or skirts over their underpants. Of course there has been slight outrage over that as well. I personally think the censored designs look better for the most part.RT-Medic-with-shotgun said:So lemme get this straight. 9 year old girls in their underpants is okay but the blood had to go? 9 year old girls in fox ears and underpants but its the blood that is the issue. Guilty as charged.DVS BSTrD said:If the European mainstream has such an aversion to blood, it's no wonder your women don't shave.

I don't get this. Only our dumb neighbor censors our blood in their games (Steam has special "German versions"), and I don't understand why TERA EU has to suffer for it.gigastar said:Thats just Germany. I dont know why the country with the biggest record of bloodshed in European history got this adversion to blood in digital media from, but its there.DVS BSTrD said:If the European mainstream has such an aversion to blood, it's no wonder your women don't save.
I did. Imagine my surprise to see it was something much more minor.Okay show of hands: Who else thought this would be related to the dress-code?

That people are outraged that the developers gave them clothing for other countries makes me want to disable my ability to go into the dregs of the internet. MMORPG.com, MMOchampion, etc. Seal it up before they reach the surface. I mean for fucks sake, they act like its a slight against Korean culture. I entered a forum and immediately found my jaw in a permanent slackjawed "WTF?" state. Why? Because people related 9 year old girls not wearing pants to grown ass women not wearing a top in public. This brings back horrible news memories. That "child porn" is free speech protected. Know something i didn't want brought up today?
