Also, in the movie and StrikerS, Nanoha herself comes into her own. She doesn't seem to be much of a tactician (Her tactics are essentially "shoot, shoot harder, and shoot more), but... Well, see for yourself.

Why does the spear thing that nanoha has speak english?

I dont like it when anime does that.

Most of the character's weapons speak either English or German. And it's broken English. And they used native English speakers for them.

Teknoman wins by a mile for me.
Great storyline. Great animation for it's time. SHORT which is great since it really has them focusing on a strong storyline.

Allround amazing.

Haha! Tekkaman Blade ftw, man! I wish he was more fun to use in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, though.

OT: Currently, my favorite anime are FMA: Brotherhood (Better than the original by a mile!), and G Gundam.

Manga: God, probably Osamu Tezuka's Buddha.

Which is what I find weird. When they speak Japanese and have English and German speaking weapons. Which is why I didnt like Code Geass in Japanese cuz they were suppose to be Europeans and yet they talked in Japanese.

That's the thing. The broken grammar is something that's just indicative of the weapons themselves. Hell, even in the dub, their English is still broken. I think it's supposed to be an aspect of the devices or t he language that they're speaking (English with wonky grammar and that sort of thing might indicate something similar to English, but a completely separate dialect).

A few. Two remain on the forefront for the first two seasons while there's one (a sniper) that shows up in StrikerS.

Probably Haruhi Suzumiya only because I don't know what else I watched recently. Oh, and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is up there too. It just needs more Vita.

There's Yuno, Chrono, Erio, and the helicopter pilot guy. I think his name is Vice? There are guys, it's just that the girls take up the large majority of screen time.

Anime: Gurren Lagann, no contest.

Manga: I'd have to say Katekyo Hitman REBORN!, even though this new arc is starting to get on my nerves...

Manga: don't read any.

Anime: Death Note by a long shot. Like if all the anime was in the Tower of Babel, Death Note would be on the last floor while everything else would be crumpled on the first. It's SO MANY LEAGUES better than everything else, it's fucking ridiculous.
Really? Because I HATED The anime. The manga was just better in every way, full of more suspense and, IMO, told the story better.

I have watched very few animes of any sort. Though the one I did watch, Ghost in the Shell, was quite good.

I'm noticing a tendency of Nanoha fans to also like mecha anime...
Nanoha is pretty much Gundam with stronger character development and a distinct lack of world peace bullshit.

Well, Nanoha isn't really the tactics type. Strategising is the specialty of other characters whilst she focuses more on the art of Starlight Breakering everything into submission.

Pretty much. And as for the Wolkenritter's devices, their magic system predates the TSAB itself, so they'd almost certainly speak some form of lost language. German seems to make for a pretty good ancient language in a mostly Japanese language series.

My favorite manga is Elfen Lied. Hell no for the anime, shorter, worse ending, etc...
Wasn't the manga never released outside of Japan (much everything else that's cool)? Or did you read it online? And if you did, where?!

OT: I'm quite fond of Ranma 1/2, Hell Girl, Sailor Moon, and more recently, El-Hazard.

I'm severely addicted to Naruto.
Also Bleach...but yeah this new arc just doesn't work yet.

Also Deathnote, cannot not mention Deathnote.
I still say they should have ended Bleach after the last arc ended. But I digress, we'll see how this one goes.

EDIT: OT Anime not sure, right now I'd have to go with Soul Eater, but Manga is a toss up between Rave Master, Fairy Tail and Hitman Reborn

On the manga side defiantly Demon Diary, though if Future Diary doesn't shit itself half way through then that could give it a run for it's money.

As for anime it's a toss up between Code Geass and Mai-Hime,both are excellent IMO
