Gotta vote for the PLASMA RIFLE-- not only is it a classic Fallout weapon, but you just can't beat a gun that incinerates enemies into piles of ash.

You mean Laser Rifle? I thought the Plasma Rifle turned them into gelatinous goo.

Hmmm... I do love my Tenderizer, but I'd have to go for either the Wazer Rifle (I can do 8 shots with it in V.A.T.S, which added to both my Sniper and Commando skill, means I already have around 40% on the enemy from a distance, plus 8 x 5% from Concentrated Fire = 8 shots of 80% from a point not even a sniper could reach) oooor, maybe my Auto Axe. Only because it looks awesome though.

I like the Ol' Painless. It's a looks like a regular hunting rifle, but does more damage and has zero spread (meaning it hits exactly where you aim). That and you can get it pretty early in the game if you know where to go.

I also really like some of the new weapons introduced in the DLC, such as the Infiltrator (silenced, scoped assault rifle), and the Gauss Rifle.

Sydney's Ultra SMG, by far.

I just wish it didn't degrade so fucking fast. Thankfully, that glitch exists so instead of rummaging through numerous merchants to find 5+ SMG's to repair the damn thing, I can just glitch Syd and get a couple more of the ultra ones.

Wazer Wifle and Shishkebab.
I charge in with the rifle which does 28 per shot, has perfect accuracy, a critical multiplier of 1.5 and holds 30 rounds and then once I am close take out my shishkebab which does 60 damage per hit thanks to the pyromaniac perk and my enclave power armors +1 strength.

Sniper Rifle. Because aiming down the barrel, locking onto a head and getting it in the middle of your cross hairs, pulling the trigger, seeing the head explode, making his or her friends run for cover is simply priceless.

Second place goes to the Chinese Assault Rifle. Lots of rounds in a single clip and able to take out a lot of baddies in one good streak.

Third place is for the Flamethrower. Awesome damage and seeing people burn always holds a special place in my heart.

It also makes a very satisfyling BANG.. the meatiest in the game imo.

A lot of people have mentioned the Chinese Assault Rifle, but few have mentioned the Xuanlong Assault Rifle. You know, the "unique" version of the C.A.R.
Also, has anyone else noticed that the reloading animation for the Chinese Pistol is REALLY bloody cool?
I don't really like the pistol itself, but it just looks so AWESOME.

My second favorite weapon besides my Chinese friend is probably my Scoped .44 Magnum, just because it's good at everything. You don't find a lot of ammo for it, but you don't really NEED to. It handily removes bodies from their respective heads at 100 feet with nary a need for messy ammo scavenging and stressful trips to the Rivet City Marketplace.

Ah the Xuanlong assault rifle... my most used weapon. Absolutely destroys muties, robots and raiders. I find myslef falling back on the terible shotgun for the CUNTING giant radscorpions though.

DI see you also like the .44, did you get the blackhawk from Agatha? It's a super powerful version of the magnum.
