I do like classy, nothing like being smashed with a sledge hammer by a person dressed in classy clothes.
You are right, nothing says "smash your face in" then a silk black suit, top hat and monocle

My personal favourite song is Inner Universe by Origa and Yoko Kanno (w/ Shanti Snyder).

But really, any song that gives me visuals when I close my eyes is always a favourite:
Therefore, I recommend all the following (For inspiration).

Replica - Ilaria Graziano
Ara Batur - Sigur Ros
Honour - VNV Nation
Vicarious - Tool
Odenall Pi - E.S Posthumus
Terra Incognita - Ike Yoshihiro (Ergo Proxy soundtrack)
Navras - Juno Reactor
Pocketful of Stones - David Gilmour
Stompbox - Quemists (Spor Remix)
Flying in a Blue Dream - Joe Satriani (Time Machine Version)

My musical tastes are all over the place.
My favorite songs are, in no particular order:
Show Me The Way--Black Tide
Better Than You--Metallica
Propane Nightmares--Pendulum
Ain't No Rest For The Wicked--Cage The Elephant
5/4--Gorillaz
Remedy--Seether
Force Commander--Jeremy Soule (Yeah, from Dawn of War)

Like I said, all over the place. I don't really have a favorite genre.

Bow Ties, a serious lacking in them these days, and somehow makes it all the more classy.
Yeah, I suppose it will also go with the top hat and monocle
Actually, what are you wearing to this sledge hammering?

Swimsuit.
Oh this is going to be sexy, a man sledge hammering another man to death in his swimsuit
Y'know what, I forgot why I am going to kill you in the first place

Gama Bomb and Five Finger Death Punch are bands you might like that haven't already been mentioned. (Or I don't think they have.)

The search button - the escapist
You have been here 3 days, how many of these topics could you have possibly seen? Or have you unwittingly revealed you are a new account of a previously banned member?

Maybe he only just got his account...

Also, you should check out Protest the Hero and Between the Buried and me, awesome stuff.

EDIT: Hey thanks everybody for great music, i feel it's my time to contribute;
Thrice - Artist in the Ambulance, sure it's a bit emo but it has wonderful guitars
I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who liked that band. "Though I prefer Under a Killing Moon myself."

OT:
Disturbed - Just Stop
Avenged Sevenfold - Lost

*sigh* This has been done before, but the audiophile in me won't let me walk away. I'll keep it fresh by posting things I haven't recommended before.

Ten Million Slaves - Otis Taylor (proving the banjo can be a rocking instrument; notable for its use throughout Public Enemies)
Father - Sean Costello (slow blues ballad by a man with a one of a kind voice)
All the Same - Scott McKeon (for something bluesy but harder)
Every Man I Fall For - Cold War Kids (maybe not the song everyone would pick by this band, but a great, odd number)
One Red Thread - Blind Pilot (indie rock with a bit of folk for balance)
Do It Again - Nada Surf (the guys who gave us "Popular" are ironically better with their lesser known songs)
Guns of Brixton - Calexico (saddest cover of a Clash song ever)
Over-Ground - Pilot Speed (hey, two bands with the word "Pilot" in their names, go figure)
The Way We Get By - Spoon (awesome, underrated band...like many listed here)
Reason Is Treason - Kasabian (proving prog rock is not dead)

Well my music taste was diffrent to yours, so you had an idea to settle it by sledge hammer.
:D
Well I think we can agree on dress sense so lets meet at that ground xD
Also the fact that we have derailed this topic unbelievably we should probably stop
