*sigh* Samus, what is so horrible about her last "outing" oh wait, because she didn't wear bulky armor she is no longer a strong woman. My mistake.
No, it's horrible because they destroyed the character, by making her a meek little self doubting submissive woman who turns into a child when threatened by a space monster she has already killed FOUR TIMES and won't use her armour until commander manny mannington gives her permission!

The fact is, I could waste my time listing female protagonists but you will just look at the list of games you have never played and tell me they are all sex objects. By that same logic, I can call most of the characters you listed as sex objects. THATS HOW THE FUCKING MEDIA WORKS, GET A FUCKING GRIP.
Yeah, master chief, man of mystery, total hunk. Gordon Freeman? What a dreamboat. Isaac clarke? Hallucinations and being batshit turn me on so. Marcus Fenix? I can't get enough of those steroidy, steroidy abs. Niko Bellic can run me over any time, with his impoverished eastern european charm.

Eh, sure, some of them are supposed to be hot, like Dante, but all of them? If they're hot, it's just another aspect of their design. Most often with female characters, that's what they get in PLACE of a personality.
i don't know if you know but when your super-advanced power armor comes off your confidence drops dramatically. you ain't so tough when a sheet of metal isn't covering you. also isn't following orders REQUIRED to be a soldier? if you disobey the higher ups, you're AWOL and that's TREASON punishable by DEATH. it doesn't matter who it is, treason is treason.
Way to be. You've gotten this far by doing a fine Whirling Dervish impression.

As a chick, I have to say that instead of bitching loudly about respect, just walk the walk. Act as if you'd like more respect. Be someone worth respecting.
exactly. i see women who screw strangers in a alley or bathroom. if you throw yourself at someone with no respect for yourself or body, why should anyone respect you? i also see women who are not the sharpest knife in the bunch and expect to be treaty seriously when they say "like" at the end of every sentence, and mistake their period for homosexuality and say "i am gay'ing out!" when the time of the month comes. respect isn't asked for, its earned. feminists need to work on the womens' side of things since that's whats holding them back.
You're seriously off-your-tits-nuts. You know that?
no, i seen ACTUAL women like this. i am not lying.
Unlike your boyfriend there, I can actually believe that's the kind of company you keep.

Honestly? Insulting my marriageability? Did we fall into a time hole and end up in 1810?

Well we were talking about man-hating castrating lesbians at some point (no quotes or sources, natch), and yet right now I can think of one person who could stand to be sent through the weed-whacker for the good of society at large... If only he'd tell me which society that is...

Let me ask a question. How many women who identify as feminists openly support misandry? My problem with the word "feminazi" is that it is used by conservatives to describe any woman says something that they don't approve of.

EDIT: Um...could you at least give me a hint?
It was a pretty straightforward statement. Women like her assume all female characters are made for men and that all male characters are made for men. My point was, that's crazy. What's made for women? Annoying vampires that sparkle in sunlight?
Yyyyep. Basically.
Kratos and Leon and whateveryousaid certainly aren't made for women. And Boobie Booberman with the camera up her ass isn't. I suppose you could argue Snake might be what with his shameless bisexuality and perfectly-toned ass in a tight catsuit, but...
(Everyone's gay for Big Boss, after all. Just ask Kaz Miller.)
Certainly my ass, leon (re 4 leon) is a pretty boy...not that I'm into that kind of thing or anything.
*snicker* Sure, bubby. In other news, beat RE5 and Chris's gal-pal Sheva can wear a Queen of the Jungle get-up which I assure you is as not-sexist as it is not-racist.
It's idiotic, and the whole game is filled with Isms. Did I say RE5, because I'm pretty sure I was talking about the one where you look at leons ass most of the time (or was that just me?) regardless the camera was pointed there.

Yeah sure, but when you can unlock a stupid outfit for a male it's not called sexism. Fact is, a male does not look like chris. Shiva was a huge annoying stereotype but so was Chris. The african female is an acrobat with a sassy attitude and the american male is a bulky steroid junky who constantly states the obvious and always acts slightly dumber than shiva.
Last line for shiva, I shit you not "this is for my fallen ancestors" WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?
Spear throwing, grass skirt wearing african zombies exluded, and it's still a pretty stupid game. If it took place in japan, all the zombies would probably wear business suits and do math to confuse you.
As usual, you're doing my job for me, and it's kinda annoying. But of course, you can't unlock Swimsuit Chris or Stripper Leon, so I don't have to waste a paragraph on that, and thank God for that. And of course the camera was pointed at his back as default, especially during important button-mashing scenes.

Next point: It was for her fallen ancestors. Duh. But of course Chris is the manly man while Sheva has to "prove her worth". (Luckily, the special edition removed her for Chris's bubbly suddenly-blonde love interest... oh and ex-main character. *Snicker* Remember when she had that game to her own and wore a halter the whole time?). Again, this has been pointed out to you multiple times, and you're not gonna understand it if people keep repeating it to you.

Third non sequitur: The zombies probably wouldn't be dressed in kimonos in paper houses.
You mean like raiden in MGS2? Or shirtless snake in MGS3? I admit it's not as common but it's there. Games do have a female audience and many of these girls do find some characters sexually attractive. You can say that women are objectified but why is that bad? Woman are, and should be allowed to objectify men in art. A very popular movie right now does that very thing. Humans suck, objectifying them makes them more interesting.
I don't think your argument works when the subject's creator is in the most transparent closet the world has seen since . Obvious fail is obvious. And third-person action games are aimed at women in general so the smartest idea for you would be to continue on this track, no?
Also: Which of these games hides posters of swimsuit girls all around, exploits first-person view to look at boobs (and the occasional man-crotch), and gives you plenty of options for viewing and photographing the female characters at multiple angles? (Trick question.)

Quite a few of them, sadly. There's whole forums dedicated to the idea that the male 'species' is unecesary, and deserving, at best of mocking and derision, and at worst of physical and sexual abuse, and even murder.

Feminists are fine. Radical feminists, who I like to call "Feminazis", are not. They are pretty awful people, about on par with white supremacists in their ignorance and hatred of the world around them. One good example is that totally whacked-out ***** who wrote a mind-meltingly idiotic "review" of Firefly, in which she insisted that Wash regularly rapes Zoe and that Joss Whedon rapes his own wife, among many other awful things.

Here it is, in all it's revolting glory. (I found it again just now by googling "crazy feminist ***** Firefly review") http://users.livejournal.com/_allecto_/34718.html

Reading it certainly inspired hatred in me--hatred of this woman.

I know not all feminists are like this pathetic piece of shit, but it pains me to read all the comments supporting her dementia.
I didn't get more than a sentence in when I found why this person is batshit crazy.

. . . since I had a conversation with another lesbian feminist sister . . .
I am not saying its because she is lesbian or because she is a Feminist. Its because she is BOTH and both sides feel they are put down more than they actually are. Yeah sure some parts of the world they still are but come the fuck on where I used to work at a restaurant we would have once a month the local Gay Pride group holding their meeting/get together thing that was more like a party than anything else.

No matter how equal you think you are you are not as equal as the person next to you that is the problem with the ultra feminists. For some reason one episode of Family Guy comes to mind talking about this. Now back on track. The ultra Feminists feel they need to have ALL THE RIGHTS in the world and probably won't until one of their own gets into power and actually does it and creates a giant distopian society where being male is frowned upon and are only used as sperm banks. Hell they probably won't stop until they are able to breed without the use of males at all.

*sigh* joke explanation, again. Go play MGS2. Spoiler, raiden is stripped naked. He also kind of looks feminine so the joke was that his femininity made people gay. Not me though, others.

The other thing made no sense. Who was talking about sympathy?
Yeah, that was ...quite a joke. What are you on at the moment?

And you two probably shouldn't talk to one another. It detracts.

Feminism is only going too far if the feminists are just doing it for attention, or to be cool.

So yes, it's gone way too far.

Whether or not it's gone to far depends on the feminist in question. The "Both sexes should be treated equally" kind of feminists are fine; the "Women are the superior race! Everything with a penis must be castrated and crucified! We don't need a filthy, inferior man to continue the human race; we'll just grow babies on farms!" kind are kinda fucking insane.
Wait... really? farms and crucifixion aren't what we were goin for? fuck! ok guys shut it down, sorry for the misunderstanding.

if women want people to treat them like men, then i can hit them when (and if) they ***** SLAP me and they can protect themselves in confrontations. I sure as hell won't be opening doors for them.

EDIT: they can control their damn mood swings as well, i don't give a **** if they ovulate.

Maybe I misinterpreted that statement but it sounded extremely sexy.
Pretty sure they are though. A "clone" in the MGS universe is just a child born using dna from somebody, you know, the realistic boring kind of clones.
That might cause trouble where relations with half-siblings are frowned upon.

EDIT: And yet Dante looks like a butch lesbian now...

where is this? looks like FBI has a black widow terrorist cell to crack down on.
They're to busy putting away those horrible pot smokers and legal head shops.
They didn't want to do anything about a Muslim group threatening to kill the makers of south park over...you know...a fucking cartoon. Something tells me they don't care about this.
the black widows blew up a subway. if America doesn't care, the KGB will looking for revenge on the attack.
Is that true?
Well fuck it. If somebody wants to kill them, let em. I just don't see a government getting involved with something that doesn't directly affect them (they have security)
yes the black widows are an all female terrorist group that DO suicide bomb. i think it was in moscow, look it up.
That would be pretty sexy if it wasn't for the militant feminist lesbian part.
Oh well, maybe one day we can have sensible amazonian terrorist groups.
http://satp.org/satporgtp/countries/india/states/assam/terrorist_outfits/blackbw.HTM

here is the info on them. they want their own land and country, stupid terrorists.
They don't seem that crazy actually. I thought it was a militant feminist group, not a group that wants a country.
That's the only way to get your own country now, money or force. I say make it happen any way you can.
i changed it, turns out the black WIDOWS are different from black WIDOW. the S makes all the different i guess. if the KGB don't care 4chan WILL.
heard about 4chan. Has to be a myth, nothing that sick and vile could be real.
its real all right.

http://www.blippitt.com/kerligirl13-jessi-slaughter-falls-victim-to-4chan-meme-is-born-video

i covered this story when it first happened, they went to good morning America about it trying to expose them.... bad mistake... GMA just walked away because they KNEW what would happen.
Morning shows probably aren't the best place to profile terrorism.
