Market research is a hugely beneficial market to be in. If you can get companies information they need, you get huge payouts. but no one wants to fill out surveys for free.Chainsaws_of_War_2 said:Ah, yes, someone nailed it.Kris015 said:This sounds too good to be true.
All market surveys are done to make money off consumers, not to pay them vast amounts of cash. Very little will be awarded if any to the thousands that will do the surveys. I hate to sound like a negative Nancy but that is the truth.
It isn't a scam. As I said above, people need market research, but people aren't willing to do loads of surveys like this with no reward. The people who hire this company to get people to fill out these surveys would pay VGM a lot of money. You're talking at least tens of thousands, probably more. These sorts of places make revenue through it, and in order to attract customers they have to offer rewards.OverHaze said:I said as much in a thread in the members section, every inch of common sense I have gained on the internet over the years says this is a scam.
I trust the Escapist but I'm not touching this with a 9 foot poll.
I did work experience a few years ago, and I worked at a place that sent you sweets as an incentive for doing surveys and such.
So no, it definitely isn't a scam. And the pricing is per survey. I got the offer to do an half hour survey for £0.60. You're not going to make a lot of money, and VGM is.
