Add the Green Lantern to my list, what a let down
The movie had a lot of potential but all was wasted due to the shitty writing and bad editing, but ryan reynolds and mark strong did good in the roles, just everything else blew

I don't think there is any movie that I regret watching, everything is worth a shot atleast.. I do however deeply regret that I re-watched Watership Down because of some thread here on the Escapist.. It broke me down in ways I never thought imaginable..
I really like the movie but, damn, it scarred me as a child and I stand by that it made me cry when I watched it again this winter.

Should I recomend you Plague Dogs? I havent watched Watership Down yet but they do seem to follow the same line. Its by the same guys too. While the film is also depressing I think that its worth it.

Norbit... and basically everything else Eddie Murphy has done in the last decade that wasn't Shrek 1 and 2.
Also anything with Will Farrell in it. I know some people like him, but that's just something they'll have to live with.

Prometheus, I didn't like it all that much but people who did have taken this hugely defensive stance gong so far as to telling people that they're stupid for disliking it.

Oh and ESPECIALLY Act of Valor. I knew the acting would be bad but I didn't hold it against them because I knew the actors were real soldiers, but really... it just became inexcusable after a while. And the fact that EVERY SINGLE DAMN ACTION SCENE had at LEAST 5 or so slow-motion events that were just stupid.
All of this, with the addition of the completely predictable plot and ending. I know it was based on true events, but as soon as:

The one guy in the beginning said his wife was pregnant, I just knew he was going to get nailed later on. Happens far too often.
Just too much cliché and bad acting to make it worthwhile.

A Serbian Film, it was shit, inspirational some called it...I can't tell you about it because if I do, you will be curious and want to see for yourself...
You didn't get the symbolism? it's all about how society fucks the serbian, every day, from birth until death, and when you are gone, it will fuck your family. The system is entrenched and propogated by the serbian himself, because it robs him of the ability to make choices, except when the only options are equally terrible. It is truly a film of deep meaning, and with an important message to convey

...nah, it's just a cheap shock flick about porn, rape, incest, rape, pedophilia, rape, murder, necrophilia, and, you guessed it, rape
Family entertainment it is not.

I regret viewing Quantum of Solace. Dull, bad, and encourages more of the same

Skyline - That's up there - it has no redeeming features, even the special affects are kinda....meh - the plot is stupid beyond believe the ending is terrible - it's just...no

District 9 - Why was this hyped to all hell - I'm only putting it as worse then skyline as I expected more of it...

Honorable mention to Super 8 - which was the most mis-advertised films I've even seen - seriously do they want to make an action film, a sci-fi film, a monster film, a coming of age story, a touching family drama or a kids action movie - OR a jumbled mess of all the above that can't engage on any level as it;s a mess...
I think Super 8 was Spielburg attempting to re-create the success of E.T. and ABSOLUTELY failing. I also think Steven should, after ruining what could have been a great ending to the Indiana Jones series and releasing Super 8, think seriously about retiring and living off his ungodly amount of money... Same goes with Mr. Lucas... unless he decides to pull his head out of his ass and let someone else direct/write any further Star Wars movies (See Empire/ROTJ pre-re-releases).
Star wars isn't worth trying to save.
You also have to realize that Lucas is a textbook example of luck-based success

Antfarm Dickhole

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2028457/

It was terrible. It is about a guy... With an antfarm... In his ureathra.

Wow, pass the popcorn, Mom.

But to say that I regretted it might be taking things a bit far. I am not that picky when it comes to movies.

Seven Pounds. Awful. Pursuit of Happyness was an example of Will Smith at his best. Seven Pounds was Will Smith at his Oscar-baitest. At the end of the movie, he kills himself so his organs can be donated to seven people with shit lives as penance for the seven lives lost in a car accident he caused. Except his character is a rich engineer who could help HUNDREDS of lives if he stayed alive and used his skills and resources. Film Brain's review goes into it a lot more, check it out.

Call me odd.but I stopped One For the Money ten minutes in it was that bad. I had just finished the book, and now must admit the Stephanie Plum novels are now a guilty pleasure, but that movie was horrid. Acting, directing, editing all bad. Would also have to include Doom. but I usually regret anytime I sink low enough to watch a video game adaptation.

Stranger Than Fiction. It was advertised as a comedy but anything even remotely comedic about it had to have been used in the trailers. That movie was boring as hell. I don't understand how it got good reviews almost universally.

The Last House on the Left..... I have never left a movie feeling more depressed. I wasn't expecting a good movie, but that was just fucking horrible.

Napoleon Dynamite... Watched it one time when I was drunk, still wasn't funny. I really wanted to throw the TV out the window.

AvP2..... FUCK NO!

Some dumb movie about a really annoying kid... Fred I think, I don't know....

I couldn't make it through Valhalla.... Almost as bad as Castaway....

Oh yes lets not forget Dragonball Evolution..... Ok I'm not even a fan of Dragonball, so I went into this movie with an open mind(it was the only thing on tv at the time so I thought I'd give it a shot), that movie should be burned along with its makers......

Buried.

It was boring, it was dumb and I hate Ryan Reynolds.

Why did I see it? It was part of a b'day cinema going (And I didn't know Ryan Reynolds was in it).

A serbian film, i can "get" the fact about how it symbolizes the pain suffered from the group of people who've beeen abused, disenfranchised and spat at.

But that movie didn't really make me hark at the cause.

and human catterpillar. Piece of S.
I'm literally laughing at the concept of the human caterpillar... That should be made into a film I swear.

Spykids:
It was years ago when I was still part of the target audience, And I still thought it was a damned awful movie! I think that movie dropped my IQ by ten points!

human centipede:
The concept, which was described to me by my friend, sounded sort of awesome; The image I had in mind was of some grotesque patchwork abomination.... instead I saw a line of people sucking each other's asses.....

Oh man, House of Flying Dagger was so awful. It was melodramatic, filled with bad and gimmicky CGI, it had an unlikeable cast, and it was so dull. However, it's worst crime was making Hero suck in retrospect.

Hmm....probably Scott Pilgrim vs The World. While I wouldn't necessarily call it "bad" I was severely let down after the massive hyping it got.
*coughmoviebobcough*
I wasn't crazy about it, at first. But I have grown to enjoy its quirkiness on subsequent viewings. Kieran Culkin rocks as Wallace Wells and the stunt casting alone is spectacular: Brandon Routh as a super-power vegan, Chris Evans the hyper-extreme movie star, and of course, Jason Schwartzman as the perfect hipster douche.

With your expectations lowered, you way want to give it another chance.
