I was thinking of buying these (7,8,9) from the store. I've only played 13 but I would like to see the rest of the series. Are they worth the money?

I would say 9 is the easiest out of the three, but 7 and 8 have better plots in my opinion. 8 doesnt mix well with everyone, but who knows you might like it (its my favourite).

muhahah thankfully i still have my original release copy of FF9, a bit banged up for wear, but still plays perfectly.

Yup, so do I. I bought it the day it hit Norwegian shops, and it's been my favourite FF since. It still makes me happy to see it made available to a modern audience, though!

I was lucky enough to still find a brand new copy a couple of years back (It´s getting kinda hard to find unused PSone games nowadays). Had to pay money for it, but it was well worth the cost.

OT: I love FFIX to death. It's my favorite installment (the only one I really enjoy actually) and I still have the PS1 discs. Might get this though. Those discs (not to mention the case) are really starting to show their age.

This makes me glad I live in England. It's already out here. While it's one of my favourite Final Fantasys, if you play it on your PSP, it's like playing it through a letterbox - it's tiny. £7.99 for us Brits. Excellent game, though, well worth the download.

This is simply the NA release date. Europe has had it for a couple of weeks.

Isn't it already out, or is this just the American release date? It must've been released in Europe early as I downloaded the game onto my PSP from the PSN store a week or so ago.

This is an American site; they usually only report American release dates for games. It did actually come out in the European store a little over a week ago. I know, WTF right? I mean, SCEE getting their act together for long anough to release a game on PSN before America? I had to pinch myself seveal times.

OT: I already own FFIX on Playstation 2, but I really want to play it on PS3 and PSP. Is it worth buying it again?

EDIT: Whoops, I mean I own it for PSOne (obviously), but I'd play it on my PS2. I want to play wireless
