FF6 has been ported more times than I care to remember. If you want to play it portably, just play the GBA one on your DS. If you want to play it on your PS3, get the PSone version. Dirt cheap nowadays.

Thank goodness, I love FF 9!

7 and 8 were OK, I enjoyed them both, however I enjoyed 9 much more. Maybe because the main male character wasn't some scowling, angsty, pretty boy.

FF 9 just feels more lighthearted than the other two.
