Why is that? I intended to purchase a PS3 eventually once it had more of the games I liked, now it will. Although I will avoid that 'upgraded' model that does not play PS2 games. And Sony wonders why people are not rushing to buy their console...
To my knowledge, none of the current PS3s out still have backwards compatability. This was in a PS3 magazine my brother showed me a while back, I have no idea if the info is still valid. However, the magazine said that all the backwards compatible ones were only on Ebay, and for ridiculous prices(900$ and up) too. So you might want to see if my info is valid or not, I certainly will have to check it out before getting myself a PS3. Don't chuck your PS2 just yet is all
As for the topic: damn, my old post seems to have been lost in the sea of the interwebz. To capture the essence of what I said: it'll wind up being multidisc on the 360, but who cares? The quality of the game will remain the same, Square wouldn't dare screw anyone on that. The worst that'll happen to anyone is that the 360 owners will have to get up once in a while for a disc change.
OH MY GOD MY LEGS ARE ON FIRE!!! IS THIS PHYSICAL EXERTION? OH THE HUMANITY!!!
....Really now. People are making WAY too big a deal out of the multidisc thing.
