Mine had these problems along with an E71 error. I got a free complimentary repair. So, question is do I get a new shiny xbox back in the mail or an old shitty one?
Impressive quad post sir, and I believe the article says you get a new 250GB slim model. This means I'm kinda hoping my elite doesn't survive this updateOld Trailmix said:Mine had these problems along with an E71 error. I got a free complimentary repair. I'd assume you can just take out the 360's hard drive and place it on a newer 360. Unless the newer models don't allow you to do that.Elijin said:What Firmware update?
Reading through it Im reading it as 'Makes your xbox unable to read retail discs'
So like, your saves will all still be fine to transfer to a new xbox? I sure hope so. I mean a short wait while they replace the machine isnt a huge deal if you can transfer your save data across. Unless they demand the old console back before they send out a new one. I dont like that idea at all.
It's like a congo line of milk spewing. And I really am clueless, the xbox guy didn't help all that much. But by what he said I will be receiving an old one, which he kind of insinuated would shit itself, at which point I will be sending it back for a new one. He even confirmed my email address saying, "You will be needing this".Grey_Focks said:Impressive quad post sir, and I believe the article says you get a new 250GB slim model. Except Microsoft actually ends up looking GOOD due to their quick response and generosity. Just look at these comments, half of them WANT their Xbox to go belly up (I know I do).Sylocat said:First the PSN hackers, now this... are people actively TRYING to make Nintendo look better by comparison?
