Whatever. Have fun picking on conservatives for being "frumpy old white men (who are all racist apparently because that's the only reason anyone could not love Obama riiiiiight.)" When the yes-we-can squads in Congress start shitting on video game rights to free speech, guess who's gonna be at the other end, waving the Constitution in their faces? The only reason FOX gets a bad rap is because they're the only news source that dares to not lean left. After awhile CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and the "news" magazines such as Newsweek all melt together into what I can only describe as an echo chamber of opinions. When Bush was in office they all rode the tandem bike of disapproval, and now that Obama's in charge, they either voice support or conveniently ignore all of his missteps and shortcomings. Let's be honest here. Some of the things these news sources report are shamelessly skewed. I'm not saying FOX is innocent, but please, oh please; stop pretending FOX is the only offender. I saw a Newsweek cover the other day that literally said, "Why are Obama's opponents such idiots?" or something to that effect. Seriously? Is this supposed to be balanced? That sounds exactly like something I'd see in a blog post. Is this what we've been reduced to? Think critically, people.

Wait, protesting green policies by actively (and needlessly) trying to HURT the environment?

That's....cartoonishly spiteful. What is he, a Captain Planet villain?

Fox, if you're looking for another well-loved, whimsical show that brightened the lives of thousands of children to rail against, might I suggest Bagpuss? [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga23iSxyXO4] I've heard he's pretty keen on recycling, liberal shill that he is.

NO-ONE disses Bagpuss. [HEADING=2]YOU HEAR ME? NO-ONE![/HEADING]

Fox of late has been seeming to be rather tame. Nice to see they didn't stop their crazy and insane agenda, after all. The world would be less entertaining.
I really wouldn't worry too much about anything Fox says. I have a feeling more people see Fox for what it is than what we might pessimistically imagine.
I saw a trailer for The Lorax, and though it does use license on the original story, as most movies based on the good Dr.'s books do, it still sticks with the core of the story. I remember reading the book back in my grade school days, and I also remember finding it one of the most creepy and depressing books I ever read then. But it's message isn't off-scope, and I have to think that Fox is more worried about it because people will find that being more responsible for our planet would make Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, and Rupert Murdoch all the more unpopular.
Arrietty looks to be another great story, a spinoff of one of my favorite book series back in my young years.
God these two movies are reminding me how old I am getting...
I have to question why it falls under some liberal agenda, unless Lou is paranoid of little people living in his house and borrowing his pens and paperclips. Which, if true, pretty much cements my idea that Rupert hires his newscasters from Bellevue Mental Hospital.

Made it through 40 seconds of the clip, felt my I.Q. drop about 5 points because of it.

How anyone can watch that show and think that it is news is beyond me. It is like believing the Onion news network is a reputable news source, and that boggles the mind.

I weep for humanity

They're remaking The Borrowers? That film warranted a remake?

I think I got my first sexual thought during that movie.

OT: Fox is stupid, blah, blah, blah- They're remaking the fuckin Borrowers. The dog that can't eat cheese? The kid getting trapped in a milk bottle? Holy shit.

Protest a film by littering in the theater? Great idea! Making a living nightmare out of the lives of theater attendants is sure to get the attention of that evil liberal Hollywood and their idiotic environmentalist ideas!

Ugh, I am so ashamed to know people who literally watch Fox News 24/7.

It's sort of funny whenever people call fox out for shit like this, they fall back on the idea that fox in of itself is an entertainment channel. Then why do you put fox NEWS on the title of the channel. I wonder the guy saying all of this stuff believes what he's saying.

This really doesn't suprise me at all, and it's not worth even saying anything about, so I'll talk about the wonderful Bagpuss reference. You fight the good fight Bagpuss, we are all behind you!

Remember, this is the network that brought out people to criticise Mass Effect's sexual content without having played the game and produces a monthly montage on the Daily Show of times their statements and values mismatch. That Newsweek article, well, it did list the number of things conservatives beleive about Obama that don't match his history, but it also went after liberals that felt he wasn't doing enough. News is allowed to have opinon within it, but Fox has way too well known a track record for passing the opinion as the news, without any real evidence behind it.

Well I don't think the Lorax is trying to push a liberal agenda, I think it's instead talking about an important issue, one that was important back in 1988 and is still important today. I doubt Dr. Suess was trying to brainwash children, just trying to give a good moral, "if you get rid of all the plants, you destroy the ecosystem." It was an eco-friendly message that's all.

I honestly don't see what the fuck fox's problem is...eco-friendly messages have been in kid's movies for years, anybody remember ferngully? And yet people still litter. I don't think anyone has to worry.
All I remember about that film is 1) Tim Curry was in it 2) The Nostalgia Critic reviewed it and 3) It introduced the "Big Lipped Alligator Moment!" pieces to his videos, causing me to call them out in many films today.
Isn't the big lipped alligator moment from All Dogs go to Heaven?

Though he could be talking about Tone Loc as a lizard. That was weird.
It was the first episode it was mentiond in
but it is a refence to ADGTH

"Dear Fox News...

...Fuck you..."

I want to see Arrietty... I guess I'm a liberal tree-hugger now, right? It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the stuff that comes from Fox can be...

Haven't seen "The Lorax" yet, but I haven't been impressed with anything Dr. Seuss related since that Grinch movie some years ago.
Did see Ariety, though. Not impressed. Characterization was sub-par, the story was bland, Gorgeous animation, but really had nothing else going for it. I mean, I'm the High Priest of the Church of Miyazaki and even I couldn't get into it.

But as to what the hell's this doing on the news, who can say. Also, why are we still reporting the non-news of "Fox puts foot in mouth"?

Edit: I should note that I meant I wasn't impressed with that Grinch movie.
