Now... well, I feel obliged to say something. Are energy sources like wind and solar cleaner than nuclear power? Of course. But are they better than nuclear power? Not nearly as clear. And with the prevailing (and wholly undeserved) view of nuclear power being that it would condemn the world to a green-glowing, cancerous wasteland, I tend to be critical of popular media that paints it in a negative light. It gets enough bad press as it is. So maybe, maybe Fox has a point about including anti-nuclear propaganda -- I haven't played the game, but it's a possibility -- though I agree that the entire rest of the segment was a jerks laughing at straw men.Logan Westbrook said:...and suggested that some of the lessons - such as saying that solar and wind energy were cleaner that nuclear power - were actually wrong.
Of course! If they weren't ... well that'd be change, and change is evil!uguito-93 said:Really? Really? Are Fox news just extremist conservative idiots just for the sake of being extremist conservative idiots?

Just being a Grammar Nazi.
Right... That's what we call hearsay. Notice how the guy doesn't say who said what? What do you want to bet he was quoting the opinion shows? In addition, he was using politifact.com, which is about as reputable as Wikipedia. Try harder.Father Time said:For startersClonekiller said:So, have any fact to back that up, or are you making like a talk show pundit and formulating a statement based on hearsay? I'm gonna guess the latter.
No. I'm just wondering if you base your opinions on fact or fancy. You know, that thing that Fox News gets accused of all the time.CarlMinez said:Are you asking me whether I have a fact book to prove that Fox News is a news network of the most disgusting caliber?
You'll also notice hey have a higher average of neutrals. (Except CNN with Democrats) Since the main slogan of Fox is "Fair and Balanced", I'd say their doing a better job than the other two.Father Time said:The only way that shows that Fox News isn't biased in favor of conservatives is that they had less positive things to say about Republicans than Msnbc. They still have more negative things to say about Democrats and less positive, as well as less negative things about the Republicans than anyone else.Clonekiller said:So, have any fact to back that up, or are you making like a talk show pundit and formulating a statement based on hearsay? Oh, and as for fact, try this:

Good thing they don't know about the cheat code to unlock every issue of Pravda, and a Lenin background.winter2 said:Egads!! They cracked the code!! QUICKLY!! HIDE ALL THE POT AND SOCIALIST SUBVERSIVE LITERATURE!!
Yeah, that's sorta a subjective statement to begin with. So I don't need to back it up with facts. Also, Fox News is a joke. You don't need a source, just ask any rationally thinking human being and you'll get the same answer.Clonekiller said:Right... That's what we call hearsay. what you talking about? it's the best comedy channel on tv, they have clowns on 24/7Russian_Assassin said:Give them a break! Gaming hasn't had any controversial events for a long time and Fox is just trying to find something to complain about, making them relevant in the eyes of dumb people again.
Does anyone really watch Fox news nowadays anyway?
Ah. I see. So, anyone who thinks Fox News is bad is obviously and intelligent human being, and anyone who favors Fox News is an unintelligent fool. Sure, Fox News might have the largest and most diverse viewership among cable news networks, but who needs those pesky facts getting in the way. It's a whole lot easier to say "only idiots watch Fox News".CarlMinez said:Yeah, that's sorta a subjective statement to begin with. So I don't need to back it up with facts. Also, Fox News is a joke.
