I love how she was attacking gamers as being anti-social shut-ins with low self-esteem, and how video games isolate people from everyone around them. Then, later on in the same fucking blog, she talks about how her son went to a birthday party where all of them got together (as friends) and played video games TOGETHER. She can hate on games all she wants, but this argument that video games isolate people from others is complete bullshit (like most of her arguments). Really, if she just came out and said "I'm a tired old ***** (or frumpy, whatever word she wants to use) and I dislike video games because I don't really understand them and they scare me", I'd have a lot more respect for her.

I never actually replied to the first comment she made (too busy being a social recluse and playing AC2 without reading instructions) but she just bliddy annoyed me there.

She instantly starts insulting video gamers. I'll confess there the social stuff is probably slightly true and what not, but if you're going to insinuate that we don't know who Einstein is and we have no power to think, than I'll humbly admit I was wrong for my opinion that strong willed Christians shouldn't be allowed on the net, you should, cause your prejudice, close minded and can't form a good argument without taking jabs at people, you'll fit in just fine on the internet.

And if she intends to use anectdotes as evidence, I counter with my friend who uses video games as a way to keep his hands nimble for his job as a typist (O.K, not the best job, but hay)

This woman is absolute bull shit I have been gaming almost hardcorely(not a word but describes how much I played and still play) since I was 3 and I'm in the top few in my class and it's hard to say who is the top overall but I am in for the best at Maths, Accounting and Physics. I really hate people like this who have no idea what they're talking about. The kind of people she describes would find some other outlet other than video games if video games weren't there. I love how people can't be addicted to sports and exercising which you actually can be.

Okay... Answer me this. I am a 15 year old boy Getting Grades B-A in subjects that I do in school. I am even writing my own Novel and hoping to get it published. So Video-games are ruining my life?

And by the way, Einstein was a bit of an asshole, cos he is responsible for MILLIONS of deaths by creating the theory which we used to make an Atomic Bomb, not only killing the Japanese, but the pilots who dropped it.

Basically you "frumpy mother", I hereby represent the entire gaming comunitee by saying that you are obviously a complete idiot, and the entire world would love you so, so much more, if you kept you mouth shut.
