First of all, I started playing video games when I was about 4 or 5. Video games were a big part of my childhood but so was going outside and playing baseball and hide and seek with other kids from my neighborhood. Video games also allowed me to bond with my older cousins who shared few other interests with me.
Secondly, I've learned a lot from video games. Zelda games have taught me that there is always an answer to a problem. If I don't see the answer, then I'm looking at it the wrong way. Professor Layton has taught me that critical thinking is the key to success. He has also taught me that a true gentleman never turns down a cup of tea. See, Frumpy Mom, I'm learning manners from video games too.
