In the original Jedi Knight, I fell from the top level of the Bespin mining facility and landed with a sickening crunch on a walkway right at the bottom. The game put up the message "Darth Matt has become one with the floor" for all to see.

If you ran off the deck and fell into an endless abyss (it's a Star Wars game- there's an abundance of them) in multiplayer the game would announce:

"[player] has become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

By "powerful" they mean "of an ill-co-ordinated gimp". Nice.
