See there was a company called something like Quantum or Opal or something like that who made a tech product and got taken over by activists such that I think it was 60% of it's turnover was just going towards supporting various activist causes. Then like 20% to wages and 15% to executives & shareholders with like 5% being used to pay actual development and research costs. (They folded within a year of this being done).

Also Sony under a previous management bought a lot of dubious scripts such as Crash Override

This is verging onto the levels of people getting pissy about LGBTQ erasure because of the free love modes that got made for some bioware games lettin you romance any character as any sex (and in some cases fictional nonhuman race)

Would you rather they waste their time and effort on this stupid shit or we end up with them actually trying to make more awful junk like ZOG's nightmare or revenge or whatever it was called?

The thing about billionaires is that they can't grasp the concept of "enough". Normal people, after making enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives and provide for their kids, would say "that's good enough; I'm going to retire and enjoy life". Those games generally don't have much respect for the characters anyway, since they're pretty much just there to be boned - an aspect that has equally been called out. That mod is simply more of that.

How is this comparable to a straight-up racist mod? Not a mod that's accidentally racist, but one that was made expressly to show how much the creator hates black people and doesn't want to see them. How is calling that out and banning someone like that "virtue signaling"?

Did they bother making that for DragonAge II? Because I think the only character with a preference in that one was Sebastian and that was just some chaste marriage bullshit because he can't make his mind up about anything. Everyone else was Hawke-sexual to the max. And Aveline doesn't count.

And as far as I know, there is no mod to allow us to romance the truly superior partner for Hawke.
