Great now the DSA is accepting liberals into it.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Edit: I agree with big tents, but my big team is all of the above other than Liberal.
I feel like "anti-racist" should be checked by default. Otherwise: wtf are you looking for in a left-socialist party?

It should, and I was rushing to complete it, but liberal shouldn't be in there.

Edit: I also put other, and populist socialists there.

Considering how the DSA compares to the libertarian and green parties how the lib and green parties compare to the reps and dems for actual policy influence, they should really be happy with all the support they can get.

(This is not a comment on the merits of the policy positions; it's a statement on the ability to enact said policies.)
We have 100,000 organizers and are growing. The Libertarians are loons, no comment on the Green Party. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's bad.

I do, care to tell me when I've not been consistent in my positions?
Every right wing crank you pooh pooh off as a one off lone wolf, while every left wing looney toon is part of a monolith.

Yeh exactly it wouldn't be the rural people upset they're getting medical care. Glad you realized what I was saying.
You know why? Because the right wing media sects have convinced them that it's okay to get fucked over as long as it "owns the godless libs".

Yes cause I'm presently seeing idiots celebrating the death of a 1 year old child because it could mean less Trump voters.
Maybe if people didn't want me to think that then they might want to clean up "their own house" and try to deal with some of the people happily sowing that perception?
Maybe you conservatives ought to do the same? Maybe if people didn't want me to think that conservatives were partisan as fuck zealots who look for any excuse to call people Communists/Cucks/Bugmen/ect, they'd think about cleaning up THEIR house?

I got fucking DOXXED over a healthcare argument. Someone took it upon themselves to break into my medical records all because I put forth the apparently "communist" idea of concierge clinics.

China apparently asking for lists of LGBTQ+ individuals now

Now to watch conservatives fall all over themselves deciding whether or not to call China "Based".

You named one random youtuber I doubt anyone has ever heard of with 200 subscribers at most

1) Not my "house" to clean up, my "House" apparently doesn't exist anymore
2) One side is claiming to be better, maybe it could try to get back to that at some point instead of apparently harassing a Super PAC found for saying political violence isn't a good move and no-one should be celebrating the idea of murdering political opponents..........

I got fucking DOXXED over a healthcare argument. Someone took it upon themselves to break into my medical records all because I put forth the apparently "communist" idea of concierge clinics.
I had some-one try to doxx me over a forum argument (not on this forum to be clear). I also had concerted efforts to kick me out of any community I was in. It's only by a stroke of luck they ended up getting the wrong personal info

Now to watch conservatives fall all over themselves deciding whether or not to call China "Based".
Or the woke lot finally start to pay more attention to the BS China is pulling

I've seen that sort of thing on Twitter from right-wing Democratic Party supporters like George Takei because they perfectly combine the moral destitution of modern conservatism with a Democratic tribal identity. His likes and retweets are shitlibs while his replies are largely from the left. By and large you're not seeing people who are serious about wanting M4A creaming their pants over deaths that happen in red states.
I mean, the US has constantly shown that they like edgy death threats as jokes

That's the whole point of chan boards.

What a petty fuckwad. Sorry you had to through with that. I've met plenty of assholes online, but none of them ever doxxed me over a stupid disagreement.

I didn't this time either....I don't know the fucker got anywhere. It's why I left the site that I engaged him on.
Even without hacking, what people can do is astonishing.

If they've got a mate anywhere in admin team, they can get your email and probably plenty more. I can't help but notice I once asked a glazing company for a quote about doing my windows, and within three months I got about 5 other glazing companies soliciting me: I believe someone gave the first firm's customer database to rivals - and it only needs one corrupt employee at a firm to hand out an awful lot of data on a person. In many chat rooms, your IP address may be exposed: I was slightly alarmed when I went into one for discussions on an online game and someone told me what city I was in from my IP. One chatroom I was in years ago you had to register with your email, and for someone who knew the system your email was part-visible publicly.

Casually chat on a forum like this long enough, most people probably incidentally leave enough information about themselves - place of residence, hobbies, job etc. - that a determined investigator prepared to trawl through might be able to identify them, or at least narrow the possibilities down a lot. Plus of course probably the user also revealing what other sites they use, for even more info.

The installers will all use the same supplier, and the details will have been forwarded to them to price the windows, so it's quite possible someone at the supplier sells 'business leads'. Saying that, glazing companies seem to spring up then fold within 18 months (killing your warranty) anyway, but it's the same people who all know each other doing the work.

This is why I have a different personality on each website. Novel backstory, different haircut, the works.

Yeah, I would go so far as to say I'm just not anonymous here. I've freely given enough details about myself, I have no right to be upset if someone tracks me down.

And that's awesome! I guess what I was inelegantly trying to say was that the DSA is still at a stage where it simply needs bodies and support. Regardless of their exact beliefs, the DSA should work with anyone who will help push reforms under their umbrella.

The Libertarians are loons, no comment on the Green Party. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's bad.
Only disagreement here is that the green party is largely full of loons too. Some individual members might be simply misguided, but the party itself is bunk.

Some black humor: is it unintentional honesty if a dipshit influencer takes the anti-parasitic Ivermectin and kicks the bucket?

Also, did this dude crap out a tapeworm, or part of his intestinal lining? Either way, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew,...

Well, it technically I don't think it will have been a tapeworm, because although IVM does kill quite a few types of intestinal worm, I don't think tapeworms are one of them. Most of the worms IVM kills are small, but I think a few could get to about a foot long. I'd also expect from a worm infection he'd have had some GI symptoms prior to the IVM, plus weight loss.

If he lost a chunk of his intesintal lining, he would really know about it. It could of course be some other thing he ate - like some sort of string / fibre. For instance, I guess if you ate enough long hair, that could form a sort of thread, but normally it forms a hairball.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the case. It's a little depressing to have a ten-year warranty you know isn't going to last just because the company won't.

Last time I hired a van, the receptionist at the place I went to was pleased they had recently got new ownership. Apparently, the owner and his son had been through four van rental companies: it seems they stripped loads of money out of the companu into their own pockets, then when it went bankrupt formed a new company that bought up the old and traded from the same location with the same stock. She was happy she would get re-employed every time the company changed, but she didn't approve of the tactic. Finally, it seems, the authorities had noticed and banned them from owning a company, and a reputable firm had stepped in and taken over.

Yeah, IIRC, insolvency laws in England allow you to do pretty much that; it's why really shit builders do it all the time - as soon as they dissolve the company they've got no responsibility for any of the work they've done. And even a shit builder can make a brick wall stay up for 18 months. Eventually the courts might step in, so they start another company with their wife, son, brother etc. at the director. This is why I own so many tools.

They have good ideas like Green New Deal, and Medicare 4 All, but other ideas like national nuclear disarmament are unilateral disarmament, and will get us nuked at worst or at least marginalized in the global sphere.

Neither of those ideas is from the green party, though. Both came out of progressive Democratic politicians.
Note: After two consecutive attempts to secure the Democratic presidential nomination and caucusing with Democrats for decades, I'm considering Bernie a Democrat for this argument despite him technically being an independent.

And to be a bit more pedantic, even the 2020 Green Party Platform doesn't necessarily support those two ideas (though it does support similar ones).
