Christ it's Theresa May all over again.
See previous generations there was actually something behind the idea of there being a meritocracy. The ultra wealthy and powerful were ruthless evil bastards to be sure, but the head start they had in life wasn't anywhere near the one they would hand to their children. They did actually have to be at least somewhat capable.

Their nepo baby dipshits on the other hand truly don't realise that they wouldn't be capable of being a shake shack weekend supervisor if they actually had to work for anything in life.

"PLEASE THINK I'M COOL!"
That's a distorted version of "All the Things She Said" by Tatu, best known for being two Russian women that pretended to be lesbians to seem controversial. You can read all sorts of stuff into that.

The original is actually a pretty good song IMO. Which this fuckface (him, not me) has now ruined.

...Anyone else just flash to Hammer's expo entrance in Iron Man 2 after seeing that?

Because that's where my mind immediately went when I saw that, and the more I think about their personalities, attitudes, and the efficacy of their endeavors...I can't help but feel there's more than a passing resemblance between the two.

The thought has crossed my mind. Musk actually is in that movie. Maybe that's how he got the idea. Sam Rockwell actually has moves tho.

So I took a look at one of the biggest if not the biggest ESG fund.

Apple is a company with a large and fuel-intensive supply chain. Tesla vs a passenger train company for example. Amazon... nuff said.

Yeah, we are screwed as a planet.

Ironically, it's Tony Stark that Musk gets compared to.

I make no apologies ma'am. Both of your nephews are pieces of shit, and this experience will not change them. I hope they do not become exonerated, because they'll just go do the same crap all over again and not learn a damn thing.

Fundamentally, people who are nice do not do the sorts of things Tate has done. This doesn't mean he's beyond redemption, but I am deeply skeptical he'll have remorse and recant.

I think what people need to get their heads around is that the "nice" child they once knew has either gone, or that it was only ever a veneer that was eventually stripped away when no longer advantageous.
