The FCAS will fail because it's run by countries that would run a lemonade stand to the ground or more likely regulate it to the ground.

The GCAP the better of these two is too short-range and will get picked apart on the runaway by hypersonic missiles.

The NGAD is getting delayed, I can't find news on the F/A-XX. Yes the US and China fight with systems of systems in mind and I am sure the rest of the world will model them as well. Yes, I know the NGAD flew in 2020, but no one wants to pay for the production lines so we got B-21s, and nuclear missiles which are likely more versatile and impactful in innovation.

Russia can't make a fifth-generation fighter in full production let alone six generations theirs would have the worst stealth, and best range out of all of them.

China has caught up to the US in... 2020, but with J-20 production, they will likely beat back US production goals for its F-35s since their labor is cheaper.
