Because of a collective defensive capacity. Russia is more powerful militarily than any individually. Hence the need to foster and maintain that collective capability.

I very much doubt Russia could take any major European country one on one. If Russia actually can with that joke of an army, then it's on these countries for not putting anything into military/defense.

Seriously, what is wrong with you people? How is it on the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make sure everyone is vaccinated against measles?
It's their job
What is wrong with you.

Vaccines aren't forced on people, so obviously there will be some that don't get vaccinated. Where were your complaints against previous people that had the job that weren't someone you had extreme bias against?
Other health secretaries didn't delete thousands of studies about the very low dangers of vaccines just because he didn't like the results

RFK can't name a single vaccine that he thinks is safe enough to use. He's ignored millions of studies over centruies because he doesn't like it. He's doing the opposite of helping.

Other secretaries promoted ones that were safe enough to use. So they were helping

It's that easy.

Does it really matter?

Someone has died of measles, a disease that is easily preventable through vaccination.
By not spreading lies/bullshit about vaccines that have been used for decades and which have been proven safe through multiple studies.
Vaccines should be mandatory, with the only exceptions being for medical reasons. We didn't wipe smallpox by being polite about it.
They were not vaccine sceptics.

I would say that isn't the reason Russia can't take over the UK or France, those two have nuclear weapons. So, now that the big nuclear armed ally doesn't want to be an ally, as long as every minor nation in Europe has a nuclear arsenal, I'm sure everything will turn out just fine...

Ukraine had nuclear weapons (the third largest arsenal in the world, and the knowledge and facilities to build more) and gave them up in exchange for a guarantee from Russia that they would not be attacked, and a security assurance from the US and UK that they would give them aid if they were to be attacked by Russia.

The world is watching and seeing how well giving up nuclear arms works out. I doubt any country will ever do it again.

Indeed. One also suspects that if Iraq had WMDs they could deploy in 45 minutes, the country would not have been invaded.
