And what was the basis for the conspiracy theories about Obama's birth certificate, pedophilia rings in pizza parlors, the Sandy Hook massacre being a hoax and every other nut case conspiracy theory the right has pushed?
Have you forgotten all the times Obama took our guns and put us in re-education camps?! Thank God that Republicans went back in time and stopped him every time!

You said a citizen being detained for 1 single night is worse than a legal resident being detained for 2 full weeks. So yes, you did say that.

I don't keep "going on about it". I've long started talking about much more severe cases, like the legal residents detained for 2 weeks without charge. But since you keep going back to make claims about those two other people taken away, it's necessary for me to continually point out you have no evidence for them.

Then look again, because that's simply not true.

In the post I literally just quoted. Can you read it?
I did not say "You have just decided that you give much, much less of a shit if it happens to non-citizens, even though they're supposed to be just as free from arbitrary detention." I said going after people who are political opponents on purpose is worse than an administrative error.

Why'd you even bring it up? It's a nothing story. It just shows your bias. Like when you brought up seed oils being healthier than butter only because your side claimed it with a bullshit study.

What's the other story then? I only recall the Khalil story being of a legal resident.

Because he said "proudly" in there? Really, this is what you concern your life with because someone you don't like added one minor word to something? Where's an example of you being mad at Biden for adding a single word that wasn't the best choice?

And what was the basis for the conspiracy theories about Obama's birth certificate, pedophilia rings in pizza parlors, the Sandy Hook massacre being a hoax and every other nut case conspiracy theory the right has pushed?
But why are the democrats better? I don't say that you should vote for republicans. I don't call people bad names like racist or dumb or sexist for voting for democrats, do I?

him having daryl cooper on was about the most despicable thing anyone could do: another soft talking hitler apologist who actually claims the holocaust only happened cos there weren't enough foods and it would've been crueler to "let all those poor prisoners die slowly" - yes no exaggeration, a mercy genocide

But why are the democrats better?
Because their accusations typically have more weight behind them and they aren't backing a guy who tried to carry out a violent coup based on lies about a stolen election and who is now trying to erase the accomplishments and milestones of anyone who isn't a straight white male under the guise of removing "divisive ideology".

You believe all those arbitrary detentions of protesters etc were administrative errors? Just conveniently of people who were critical of the government? No, buddy.

Why'd you even bring it up? It's a nothing story. It just shows your bias. Like when you brought up seed oils being healthier than butter only because your side claimed it with a bullshit study.
At this point, you've talked about it a hell of a lot more than I have. I've long since moved onto talking about much more egregious examples.

What's the other story then? I only recall the Khalil story being of a legal resident.

Because he said "proudly" in there?
...And promised more to come. He's very, very obviously portraying it as a good thing that this innocent legal resident was arrested. The government is weaponising law enforcement to repress speech, and you couldn't care less.

But republicans didn't remove candidates from ballots...

Last thing you said doesn't exist...

...your brain is heavily damaged. see your doctor plz
To backing up its claims with evidence? To wanting to live in a world where the powerful are held to standards and ethics and the powerless aren't victimised or scapegoated? Oh no, how terrible.
They can't even do a video fairly on something that isn't political let alone one that is.

What protesters? I'm talking about the immigration ones.

You brought it up all this stuff only because it's left leaning, you don't do the same for the other side.

And you can use that to link me to these other stories.

You're assuming he knew that he was a legal resident, and he wasn't innocent either.

We laugh and we laugh at the complete clowns in the US and we are right to do so. But its worth pointing out that the US circus doesn't have a monopoly on clowns.

Case in point our own migration minister Faber. Best known for doing a Palpatine impression and going ''I AM policy!''. Throughout her tenure she's been incompetent, tactless, combative and hasn't even managed to pass a single bill. As such she's constantly in conflict with parliament and even her own coalition members.

This came to a head when it turned out Faber abused her power to deprive volunteers of a royal award for their service and the accompanying ceremonial ribbon. She did this just because those volunteers got the award for helping refugees and she didn't like that. That's already more than a bit pathetic, but when hauled for parliament over this she made things much worse by endlessly repeating the two stock phrases ''I want less migration'', and more bizarrely ''I'm not a stamp machine!''. She answered those lines to every single question thrown at her for several hours. This created such anger in parliament she got hauled back to parliament yet another time to answer for her antics of the aforementioned session, and whether or not the coalition is functioning. She didn't manage to make a good impression there either.

Why would tech devices be subject to tariffs this time if they weren't last time? The US doesn't make such devices so why would they be tariffed in an effort to safeguard domestic production (that doesn't exist)?
Because that's what Trump has been saying he aims to do. He's argued for a 10-20% blanket tariff on all imports this time, rising to 60% for imports from China.
Again, let me know when this actually happens.
They won't be subject to tariff this time either.
There's a good chance the across the board tariffs are the "build the wall" of this cycle. Taxation authority is vested in Congress, and the President only has the power to impose tariffs where written law allows, and all of those require justification. An across the board tariff would have to come with a substantiated argument that every other nation on the planet needs their influence in America weakened.

Last time around, he had limited authority to build a wall, fought with Congress for a bit, and eventually declared it a national emergency to get around that fight.

This time, he'd need Congress to play ball to actually enact the policy, so he declared a national emergency to skip that fight.

My prediction was almost perfect: I thought he'd say foreign trade was a source of undue influence on the US as justification, and instead he went with trade imbalances make our defense industry reliant on foreign adversaries. Either way, I explicitly called that he was going to need to make a justification like that.

It was so fucking petty. Nobody even really cares much about these ribbons - they're the most uncontroversial baseline acknowledgements from the government. And STILL she refused to sign for them. Not because she didn't care, not because she had better things to do, but just because she hates immigrants so much that even the smallest gestures of kindness toward them are seen as opposition to her. And ofcourse Wilders aggressively came to her defense and applauded her actions.

This whole thing is probably what she'll be remembered for most, because she's unable to do anything actually productive. This is Wilders' protege, by the way.

Yeah, they just try to limit the number of people who can vote instead and lie about election fraud that Trump-appointed judges disagree happened.

You really don't pay attention to the news, do you?
Both sides try to change voting laws that would help them win along with gerrymandering as well.

That article didn't mention any single thing that was censored. It's like the one person that posted that they removed some Jackie Robinson article from somewhere and all they did was remove a meta-tag on that article.

I haven't noticed any higher prices on tech products.

Have you noticed the announcement of blanket tariffs? The ones you said wouldn't be happening? You asked me to tell you when it happened, and here I am telling you that it's happened.
