Gabe Newell: Valve E3 Surprise Isn't Episode 3

Watch it be something goofy like a Valve multiplayer pack with Counterstrike, TF2, L4D 1/2 being released as a $40 or $50 retail package.
I'm going to go with pretending it's that, so in the event it is something good, it will shatter my expectations and I can be excited about it.
But I think Valve knows they've left many a player with gaming blue-balls, and should get to finishing a certain something...

If not Portal 2 or Episode 3, I'd like a remake of Half-Life for consoles. I know someone did Black Mesa:Source, but a good remake with the Source engine for PS3 or 360 would be nice.
This is just getting laughable. Valve are comfortably resting on their laurels, grinning smugly to themselves, and when they do finally release the damn thing (with a minimalistic graphical upgrade, if the fans are lucky) people will happily shell out their money in a near-orgasmic frenzy and praise to the heavens the existence of an outdated expansion to an outdated game.
I wouldn't be too surprised if it was something new. I mean, they were just getting the hang of keeping everything updated and in order so they absolutely NEED something else to distract themselves. Congratulations to them for that, at least they're not pissing away time on Facebook.
It will probably be something about Portal 2. I am pretty uninsterested about Portal 2, L4D3 or Ep3, unless it is something like The Orange Box. That package was really cool, since I would have been pretty pissed of if I had to pay full price for any of those games.

its not gonna be episode 3 its gonna be half life 2 episode 3.5, valve has already had episode 3 out for their team for a year and they decided to release a better one for the public.
