The ultimate gaming truth!

I actually bought V Rising on Steam a few days ago. It was very positive rated and is probably accurate but I had to refund. It’s always online and even single player mode requires setting up a private server and changing a bunch of settings to keep it as private as possible. I was still willing to give it a chance but when twenty or so hits on the first enemy basically did chip damage to their health that was the final straw.

Is V Rising an indie game?

Sterling, on a 15 minute assault on Microsoft's screw ups and laying off many studios.

Hellblade II Reviews
Hellblade 2 getting unanimous praise across the board with critics. The combat has been improved in all of them. Say it is better than the first game. Puzzles are apparently much more interesting and better, but I did see a few reviews complain about the newer puzzles. I think those boiled down to personal preference though. The game is about 7-10 hours long depending on difficulty and if you bother to do all the side paths.

Appreciate you summarizing all that.

Neato for PC players -

Brilliant way to drum up hype for the upcoming Witcher games that will come out in like 10 years. Some mods I predict:

- Obviously a bunch of disgusting porn crap with Ciri
- Different ending with Djikstra, the way he forces you to choose between him and Roche if you complete the Radovid assassination quest line. This is one of the biggest narrative peeves of the fandom.
- Shani romance
- Iorveth. I don't even know if this is possible because Iorveth isn't even in the game so you can't just use their asset for it, but it seems the modkit will allow generating NPC's so someone will make a really good Iorveth. If you don't know this is a major character in Witcher 2 and was originally planned to be in W3 but it was just too much. Folks had already uncovered hidden files in the game code that showed quests with him that presumably would have been part of the Novigrad main quest line and was replaced or simplified with the Big Four gangs thing. So I bet someone will just basically recreate the original intention.
- Different end boss fight(s). A lot of people seem disappointed by that last fight so I'm sure someone will come up with some crazy stuff.

Mostly I just look forward to what kind of wacky witcher contracts people will come up with.
