Game characters with stupid names

The Final Fantasy characters from FF-13 have pretty stupid names: Hope, Snow, Vanille, Lightning and, Denzel Washington ... or is that Martain Lawrence?

Hope isn't all that weird, just uncommon and Snow wouldn't be so weird if it was in Japanese (Yuki). I don't think any language would ever name their kid Lightning though. That may or may not be her real name anyway.

Golbez, Cecil, Angeal, Genesis, good ol' Sephy, Samus Aran, Link, Zelda, Squall, All the human cast of KH2 [especially Org. 13].

Cecil and Golbez aren't weird! (well, Golbez kinda is). Zelda is a real world name, uncommon as it is. Sora (KH) isn't a weird Japanese name, though I'm pretty sure it can be used for guys and girls alike.
The ones who named their kids Angeal and Genesis are trying too hard.

I'm adding some more: any non-main character from the entirety of the Phoenix Wright series. Seriously? Larry Butz? Wendy Oldbag? The list goes on and on.

y vote goes to Cao Pi from Dynasty Warriors. I need not explain further.

1) It's actually pronounced 'Chow Pi'.
2) It's a historical name.

In the game, they pronounced it 'Cow Pee'. That just makes the developers look even dumber, doesn't it?

I knew the game developers were idiots as soon as I heard Ts'ao Ts'ao's name pronounced "Cow Cow."

So...it's only a stupid name when mispronounced. That's hardly a fair example.

Soap is awesome and all that, but his nickname is incredibly silly.

Aww, if you quoted me properly then I would have caught this 3 hours sooner. How come when someone says something like "no offense," they really mean "kiss my ass"? (let's see if anyone cares to guess the reference).

Yeah, fine. Call me a weaboo if you want since I probably qualify. Doesn't really detract from what I said though. No hard feelings I guess, but calling someone a "weaboo pissant" may be a tad unnecessary.

I'm gunna have to go with a game that hasn't even been released yet. Judging by the e3 gameplay of modern warfare 2, the character you will play in the campaign is "Roach".... I... I just....what?.....I mean, soap is awesome, but ...roach....?

Not every game character can have a cool name like Jack Cayman, or Gordon Freeman. Sometimes characters have to suffer with having a really stupid monicker. Which character has the worst name?
