Games you bought twice

Once it's released, I'm going to be getting the Wii U version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Speaking of which, how many more games from 2012 or earlier do you think are going to get ported to the U? I'm going out on a limb and assuming Kingdoms of Amalur won't but Dragon's Dogma is a possibility I think. I also see the possibility of something like The Ezio Compilation, Mass Effect 1 & 2...ok maybe not those last two...never mind.

Several since I got a gaming pc, and since Steam sales are too good to pass up. The most notable is Fallout 3. I bought it for my laptop, which wouldn't run it, so I bought it on 360. I then bought the GOTY edition on 360 and then again when I got my new pc.

I bought bad Company 2 twice, due to the disk breaking (a slight crack formed on the inner circle of the disc) and saints row the third on PS3 and PC

I got no less than 3 copies of FTL. I also bought a bunch of old games on GOG such as Pharaoh, Theme Hospital, the King's Quest collection, Zork: Nemesis, Return to Zork, Grand: Inquisitor, Myst, but I'm not sure those really count, since I was still a teen when those came out, so technically my parents bought those GOG games.

I bought Soul Reaver for the Dreamcast after waiting six months for the PSX version and discovering it had loading times longer than the average human lifespan.

Also, Jak & Daxter, Resident Evil 4, Ratchet & Clank 2+3, Bioshock, Crackdown, Phantasy Star Online and Tony Hawk's 2.

FF4 on SNES and DS (Though thats a remake)
I have an extra inFamous, cause I got the free one after the hack, and an infamous bundle with my second controller.
Similarly I have multiples of AC cause they keep bundling it onto the sequels.
A DOS and a Win95 version of Ultima collection (1-6, and 1-9, as well as 7/8/9 standalones)
And an extra Heroes 3, cause my mom kept my originals (Although technically she bought the first one, not me)

SimCity 4, used to have a copy but i lost it then it was on sale on steam for 5 euros, fair price for a great game

I've bought Red alert 3 for all 3 platforms but during different years from 2008-2010 because I bought the PS3 version first and then my PS3 died and from then on the 360 and finally the PC version.

Enjoyed all 3 forms even though the 360 version had a little elss content but graphics were not a problem on all 3.

You know what? Spyro fans will kill me for this but oh well.

Apart from Fallouts 1-NV (including Tactics) and LA Noire, I also bought The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon twice.

Why?

Because at the time I only had a PS2 and a Wii, and since the Wii was a next gen console I wondered "Oh gee, maybe the Wii will have better graphics!"

A few small things added, LOATHESOME controls.

I wouldn't mind getting it for the PS3 now, I loved that game and still do. But hey, at least it isn't Skylanders Spyro.

The three Mass Effect games.

Mass Effect 1: 6 times. First copy bought with my 360, second bought because the first developed a crack at the centre. Third was the PC version and that was followed by the Classics Edition for the 360 so I could have Bring Down the Sky on disc for the console. Fifth was the version from Games on Demand and lastly I grabbed a second hand coopy of the Limited Edition.

Mass Effect 2: 3 times (kind of). I bought the PC Collectors Edition and the regular version for the 360. Then because I bought Dragon Age II, Bioware gave me a free PC copy of the regular version of ME2.

Mass Effect 3: Twice. The PC Collectors Edition and regular 360 copy.

Also bought all the DLC for both PC and 360 versions.

BF BC2 just screwed up ... ON ALL DISCS. Though I was glad to play it on my console back then.

morrowind, it came with one of my earliest pc's. I bought the GOTY version later and last year I got it on steam.

I think thats the only one. Maby Oblivion aswell. This most importantly because I barely ever bought games before steam anyway.

Bought New Vegas twice, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion twice, Saints Row 3 three times, (1 copy for myself, which I gave to my bro, second copy for myself, third copy for a friend for the holidays), Silent Hill 2 twice (one for the Xbox, one the HD remake.... yyyyeeeah... so much for thinking I didn't have to wait for the reviews of a goddamn re-release).

Also, I've bought the Hitman trilogy (Hitman 2, Contracts, & Blood Money) three times. One for the PC, one for the consoles and bought them individually, and just recently via the HD edition. You're welcome, Eidos.
