Empire: Total War.
I loved Medieval 2 Total war and thought Empire would be better, played it twice and got bored. I miss sending my assassins all across Europe. Kings beware.

GTA IV. I got bored of it fairly easy, but then I think the series reached its peak with Vice City easily the best GTA game

Congrats on your first thread!
The STALKER games. I just can't be arsed to play them!
There is no intro-type thing to help, so you start of going "wuh...uhhh...ok, how does this work?! Fine, I'll stumble around. Is this pistol better than that one? How many can I carry? How do I sell shit? Errrmmm........."

Normally I'd be ok, I started FO3 pretty easily, but STALKER just stumps me.

Power Rangers for the Sega Genesis. I could never get past it. I was 12 I think.
My parents had a Genesis and bought that game for me. I beat it at half your age, total waste of my time come to think of it.

OT: FFIII, oh god that game should burn in hell for all eternity. I've never beaten it, I have to play it in one to two hour increments or I get micro hemorrhaging of the brain. The doctor said it shouldn't leave any permanent -Disco Pancake Guinea Pig- damage.

Mass Effect 2 - Got bored really quickly.
Deus Ex: IW - Far inferior to its predecessor.

Several older games that I can't with certainty recall the name of.

Whu..?

What?

Not to put a stain in your reputation, but that game:

A) Does not exist, and;
B) Would be awesome if it did.

OT: Lost Planet was boring as fuck, and Bayonetta was just to bright, weird and overall "japanesey". Both were returned within 24 hours of purchase.

Bayonetta. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game, but I bought it a couple of days after release, at full price, and beat it a week or so after. Haven't touched it since. It really wasn't worth buying at full price, knowing as I did that I was probably only going to play it once.

Probably Children of Mana for the Nintendo DS.

I'd heard good things.

Which all turned out to be LIES.

I think I speak for everyone when I say FUCKING ODST GOD DAMMIT.

Also Modern Warfare 2... I played it a lot, but I feel like I never really had that much fun.
Nope. I loved it. Awesome storytelling and game mechanics. The characters were a bit lacking, but overall it was a good game.

OT: Spore. I only enjoyed the cell stage... and a bit of the tribal.
I liked Spore but that was because of it's openness and it's a game I can minimize when I'm supposed to be working (plus I have the Galactic Adventures expansion so beaming down adds more to it [thank god...])

also why do you keep saying "OT:" before everything?

and to restate it
everyone is entitled to their opinions, so stop yelling at everyone that theirs is wrong because it just shows how insecure you are with your games and you don't want to admit you paid $60 for yet another Halo game, and you're not having as much fun with it as you should
"OT" stands for On Topic. My sentence/paragraph thing before it wasn't part of the discussion at hand, more of a comment to the person I had quoted. After I'd finished that, I just put "OT;' to signify I'm going to talk about the subject on hand.

Bioshock, it was not worth $5.
Haha, good one... Now seriously take that the fuck back right the fuck now.
Nope, Unlike most people I was able to see through the interesting setting and realize how shit the GAME part of the GAME was.
Ok, I agree on the point that Bioshock is one of those: 'You can go faster later in the game! So we make your character retardedly slow!' And: 'You need a power for this now! What? Later? Nah, we don't do that. GET POWER NOW!' games.

But come on! $5,- for a game that had reasonable graphics and a well plotted storyline! You hardly have the right to complain because you spent 5 bucks!

For me I wasted money on Warhammer 40.000 Strike Command. ?20,- for only 15 levels (ball bustingly hard levels) and the facade of being Real Time. It's not |-( the back of the game dissapointed me.

There is no music, only some flash animations (with tweeeeeens! |-( ) and the soldiers cry 'waarlgh, for thee emporowr' when they die. There is a 'Finish turn' option, but to do that, you need to pause the game. Why don't you have a shortcut for that?!

No order kept up:

Enter the Matrix: Not one redeeming thing to say about a crappy game with a flimsical story, besides that with this it fit perfectly to the last two Matrix-movies. Furthermore the graphics were crap (seriously,square-edged wheels in a 2003-game for the PC? Wow.)and it was more expansive than other games at the time.

Legendary: Claimed to be a fantasy-shooter, since you fought werewolves, gryphons and kraken. Was as convincing as me claiming to be a woman should I wear high-heels. Or in other words: Boring weapons, boring enemies in unoriginal fantasy creature-skins.

Deus Ex: Invisible War: If you want to create a sequel to an intelligent game with an intelligent story your team shouldn't consist of morons. I wonder if Warren Spector cried when he saw what his franchised got turned into.

Gothic 3: It's like they *intended* to turn a good franchise to crap.

Kane & Lynch: Antihero and Asshole are not the same thing, despite beginning with the same letter. Same goes for superb and stupid ending.

If I had to pick one of those as the WORST, it would be Enter the Matrix.
