Resistance. Absolutely terrible.

And people shouldn't hate on FFXIII so much! For some reason dissing final fantasy games has become 'hip' or something, it was a good game!
I admit it was a slow and very corny start, and the battle system was quite complicated so it took a long time for the tutorial chunk of the game to end, but overall it was a good game! It was no FFVII, but it was still above average! DX

Also Operation Flashpoing - Dragon Rising. Damn game does no justice to the Virtual Mil-Sim genera. ARMA II all the way.

Other games include:
- Modern Warfare 2
- Assassin's Creed 2
- Grand Theft Auto IV
- Modern Warfare 2
- Borderlands
- Assassin's Creed 2
- Grand Theft Auto IV
- Borderlands
- Grand Theft Auto IV
- Assassin's Creed 2
- Borderlands

I may have mentioned some of them more than once. It's because I really, really regret buying them.

MW2: $60
BLs: $50
AC2: $45 (thank god local store %*$@ed up on the price)
GTA4: $50

All total, a waste of $205. That burns my heart more than anything. It literally hurts. Oh, $15+ for Operation Flashpoint 2. IT BUUURNNNNSS!

HL2 was 3-years-old by that point and packed in with 3 brand new games and Episode 1; not really seeing how it was the main event.
3 years on I was still hammering Halo 2 with mates at college, every day in the guild room, 4-5 hours a day. Half Life 2 was reputed by Valve's fans to be leagues ahead in terms of physics, gameplay, story, the works; and I wasn't skeptical, I was excited because PC Gamer and 70% of the internet seemed to agree.

Turns out they were all mistaken. Physics were novel but not as entertaining as I'd anticipated, vehicles like the amphibious bike thing seemed to lose said physics altogether, treating shallow water and pavement just the same! Pretty pathetic. The weapons weren't exciting save for the gravity gun (so, gameplay was a snooze), the plot is convoluted in a pretentious way- like the 'Lost' TV series, which I despised... It just didn't float my boat- even compared to its contemporaries, it was in my opinion way below par.
Err... The amphibious bike thing was a hovercraft. Maybe you should look those up.

And you're missing the point with Halo 2 (other than that it has a multiplayer component, which is what you were playing years later): if Halo 2 came out in a package with 3 other new games, 2 of which were a continuation of it's new story, then Halo 2 would not be the main event.

You lose points for the Lost reference since it's freaking amazing, and HL2's plot isn't particularly complicated. In fact, the main plot is fairly straight forward (albeit very well told); if you want background information then things are left to your own interpretation, just like they would be if you were actually Gordon.

Two Worlds - never been so bored while playing an RPG.

Gothic 3 - I tried to like this game. Really. I've played it with every patch and community enhancement I could find, I kept telling myself that it would get better later(maybe after I freed the next town...?) but it's just bad, especially compared to 1 and 2.

Overlord 2 was pretty disappointing too, but I didn't pay much for it so I don't really regret buying it.

Bioshock 2, FinalFantasy XIII, Halo 2, Prey, Spore and finally the biggest waste of money to this date: L4D2 (Left 4 Dead 2)

I just cannot think of any bigger, gaming related, waste of money. Disgusting.

Edit
Also Borderlands was a waste.

Saints Row 2

Everything about it screamed "I want to be GTA 4!"

And it could of at least cloned it well. But it wasn't. I hate that game. So much.

MW2.
Mercenaries 2. It's just repeat this repeat that.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but no fun playing by yourself and not many people have the game, the co op is awesome though. Plus no subtitles for the shit voice acting.

Killzone 2. I CAN'T BEAT THE LAST LEVEL ARGHH, but I did like the Bots, but the multiplayer wasn't my thang.

ODST was total crap. What a money grab. The problem with companies dishing out these auto-manufactured awful games is that people will still buy them; by the time we all realize our mistake it's too late. They make tons of money that way, so it's actually a valid business strategy, which disgusts me. I think I might boycott Reach even if I hear it's good. People have to stop buying games (seeing films too) based on what they assume they might be like, or else this will never end.

Hmm lets see a lot of games here

1. Prototype- Great game yet very short and repetitive and i bought it new so def. not worth the 60$ i shelled out for it
2. Mass Effect 2: Loved the first one and even pre-ordered the second (with 3 of my friends) yet i haven yet to even removed the plastic wrap around the box, I just havent gotten around to opening it and could have borrowed a friend's for free.
3. Gears of War 2: Bought 1 used and it was fun but 2 was not worth 60$
4. Deus. Ex Invisible War: got both of them off steam during a sale. First one was excellent second one was very meh.
5.Plain Sight
6. Psychonauts: Just cannot get myself to play it.
7.Sacred 2
8. Stalker
9. L4D1- Loved it on PC and played all the time at an Internet Cafe but on the xbox it just wasnt worth it
10. Fable 2: Loved the first one but the second one was just too boring.
11.Dynasty Warriors Gundam- Loved Dynasty Warriors Games and Gundam games but this one was just horrible
12. Lord of the Rings Conquest: Loved the demo but then found out that's basically all their was to it.
13. Warhammer Online: When i got it just found the pvp to be extremely unbalanced
14. WoW: Prob one of the greatest games of my life, but now that i quit i realized it cost way too much
15 Modern Warfare WAW: Tanks ruined multiplayer
16. Max Payne

Two Worlds was the main one for me.... Here is my Two Worlds experience:
This. I didn't encounter your experience. Here was mine:

Act 1:
I don't know what the-

Crap, I didn't get to-

Dammit is there a setting-

Fuck this game!

I don't know what the hell was going on because evertime someone tries to talk in the game they say like 3 syllables and then it would cut to the next bit of dialogue. No one ever finished. I tried to go as far as I could which meant some weird dungeon thing, some goblins on my way back to town, but then I lost all direction and had no idea what was going on when I went back to town. 0 story and shoddy gameplay made me say screw it.

Although, I am ure I still have the disc lying around here somewhere.

Bioshock, it was not worth $5.
Haha, good one... Now seriously take that the fuck back right the fuck now.
Not everyone can appreciate the artistic value and atmosphere of some games, everyone is flawed in some way... thats why we are all special.

LOL! You sound like a smart guy/lady... whichever. You sir/madame are very correct.
You think? Why thank you very much.
You are quite welcome.

Supcom 2, a complete betrayal of everybody who stayed with GPG and Supcom FA, in favour of all the scrubs who couldn't handle its scale or the complexity of good economy.
Thaaaank you!

Fuck man, some other idiot was saying that Supcom 1 and FA were too hard. The fuck, it was the perfect difficulty.

Robocraft (I call it this, pretending it is not a supreme commander game) is far too fucking easy, and painfully unbalanced. It looks like a rush job all around, and is just too fucking easy economy wise.

Make lots of power plants, and 9 converters.[sarcasm] Well that was insanely difficult [/sarcasm]

4. Cool, lets go chop up some baddies.

5. 30 mins in - WTF glowing helmet guy just killed me argh!..

6. WHERE IS MY CHECKPOINT!?... I guess I didnt go far enough for a checkpoint, hmm :/

7. Start level again, Yay I killed the impossible glowing helmet demon guy, just.

8. Played for another hour and a half or so, choppin up more baddies n sh*t, cool this is getting addictive!

9. Oh whats around here? BIG F*CKING DRAGON WTF - Dead.

10. While loading I presumed there would be a checkpoint considering im 1.30 hours in.

11. Back at the start of the level I just spent 2 hours total trying to progress through.

12. F*ck this stupid f*cking sh*t game.

13. rage

14. Next day - SOLD.

Maybe even the worst money ive ever spent.

There must be some more out there who bought Demons Souls?
I went through that process for 40 hours. It got worst as it went along. The horror of it all.

Did it though.

Golden Axe- my mate wanted to play it so I got it to shut him up. My eyes still bleed after playing it. I've hidden it in a draw so I don't look at it. I don;t even dare take it to trade in in case people see me with it.

True. but the game was very repetitive, most of the levels where dull and un-iteresting
The Enemy's where also repetitive, and the missions where all "go here shoot this/collect that" and the story was just dull. the reason I played it 4 times, a) because I have no life b) because I am a perfectionist I had to finish it on normal and hard. the other two times was with friends....that was alright I guess.

oh and four times in less than a month...to easy >.<

Can I just say the Wii in general? There were like 5 games for the damn thing that didn't totally stink. Oh well. There are so many I can't name them all, but if I had to choose, it would be Lego Starwars
