Mine would have to be Mafia and KotOR (two games that I mention in every other post). About 10 minutes ago I was looking for mafia 2 updates when I found a review for the original Mafia on Eurogamer so I thought I'd have a look. To my dismay, the reviewer had made the lynch-able mistake of comparing Mafia to GTA 3 which was released at a similar time.
He slagged off pretty much everything about the game and came up with some pretty stupid reasons for not liking the game, one was along the lines of:
"The game only allows you to take a few shots before you die - and if you're caught with a pump action shotgun in your face you'll be killed in a single shot."
I couldn't believe how pissed off I was that this guy had completely missed the point of the game, and was dismayed at the number of people who had decided not to get the game because of this review.
If the last comment hadn't of been written in 2002 I would of jumped straight in there!
Is that the one that was a turn-based RPG? or was that the first one? I forget.Notsomuch said:I don't know.. Parasite Eve 2. Greatest game ever? Maybe.

I had a poster for that game a long time ago (almost half my life ago). I've been looking for the game recently but I can't seem to find it. Is it good? I've been wanting to play it ever since I first heard of it...Daedalus1942 said:Also, American McGee's alice was brilliant.
A clever spin to a well-known tale.
I loved it from the beginning till the very end and everything in between. Give it a shot, its def worth a try.AvsJoe said:EcksTeaSea said:American Mcgee's AliceI had a poster for that game a long time ago (almost half my life ago). Okay, I'll admit that I'm very ignorant on Diablo 2 as I have only played it a few times, but it seemed to me like the save system was inconvenient, either being unable to save before quitting because I hadn't finished a quest or having to backtrack through somewhat tedious areas due to spawning at the camp upon loading. Am I missing something?Abedeus said:Only Diablo 2 and Neverwinter Nights. They have little to no flaws.
Every other game has a flaw that I can relate to, but those two - none.
