Goldeneye: Rogue Agent on the Gamecube
I still play that and Nightfire on my Xbox. Goldeneye was very underrated in my opinion.

Other obscure titles I still play Eveything or Nothing on my Xbox and loads more that I can't currently think of....

Dude, the .Hack series was awesome.

As for me, I still consider Brutal Legend as one of the most awesome games of the current console generation. Too bad it's online multiplayer sucks.

Battlezone II : Combat Commander is probably my favorite game ever. Seriously check this one out. It is a might glitchy but there are unofficial patches that help it out a lot.

I still love playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Also, Vexx is an awesome game, I wish I'd bought it for the xbox. Also another game I loved that no one else seemed to play (or had even heard of really) was Oddworld: Strangers Wrath.

Probably Project Overkill.

It's an obscure Konami game in which you are playing a group of mercenaries hired to essentially kill everything on a colonized planet that your bosses want to occupy. There is no hero here, because it seems that while the government on the planet is fairly evil, your bosses are ruthless bastards for sending you on missions specifically to kill, destroy, sabotage, and so on.

There is one VERY IMPORTANT thing to note about this game, though: The escort missions can be skipped.
THANK you I forgot the name to that game, had it ages ago and have no idea what happened to it.

Games that I think no one knows about...hm, there's a lot of those actually.

Ranger-X Genesis, fantastic game in about every dept minus story, it's an action platformer? With a mech that you can merge into a motorcycle that follows you.

Flashback Quest For Identity: More people seem to know about the other game they made "Out of this World" or "Another World" but it's basically a 2D uncharted for Genesis, Dos, SNES(not so good), Amiega, Sega CD

Darksiders: A recent game that I'm pretty sure everyone dismissed for stupid reasons. It's a great mix of Devil May Cry, God of War and Zelda, their inspiration is obvious but it's pulled off well.

Rayman Origins: I've heard NO one talk about this yet others go on and on about that Mario Wii game that made me want to kill my friends over(bumping against friends, ENRAGING thanks Nintendo) it's 4 player 2D platforming heaven. It's beautiful, has great music, 4-player co-op, is a fun game that brings challenge.
And now, to do you a good turn. I've played Flashback. In fact, I'm of the opinion that it's a good enough game that plenty of people have. Hell, YAHTZEE has played Flashback.

Ring of Red for the PS2. Giant diesel-powered mech turn-based strategy game. Pretty niche, no voice acting, looked kinda ugly, only knew two people who ever heard of it.

As for me, I'm currently re-playing through Psi-Ops and finally playing through Earthbound. Two underrated classics of different generations.
Not playing it now but Psi-Ops is still one of the most innovative games I've ever played. Why won't they make a current gen version?
I agree. That's on my wish list of games I wanna see made. That, a new Darkstalkers, a proper new Bloody Roar, etc etc. Could go on for days lol

Whether it's an obscure title, or just a really old one, or perhaps one nobody else liked, what are some games you're playing right now, games you play frequently, or games you're planning on playing soon, that you're convinced nobody else is playing? (Alternatively, if somebody else posted a game you also play, feel free to point that out to make them feel better.)

Just now I was playing Bloody Roar 2 for the PS1
Holy insane coincidence batman! ...I was just seriously considering getting that game. There's a game store in my town that sells games going back to the PS1 (and further back), and Bloody Roar 2 was basically the only one I saw that I really wanted. I played the demo a lot when I was a kid and it was a blast, but then I got Bloody Roar 3 and it was disappointing. Is 2 any good?
Bloody Roar 2 is great. It's when they went next gen with 3 that the series kinda fell off. But personally, I love 2.
Is it worth $15?
You could probably find it for less on like Amazon or something, but I'd say yes. It's worth the $15

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red...
Despite its repetitiveness, I'll still sit down and play this if I'm bored.

Also: Age of Empires II, anyone?

I'd have to say Dreamkiller, I have seen no mention whatsoever of it on any site I have visited other than Steam.

I'm aware he enjoyed it to some degree since he has videos of him playing it, I think he even recommended it somewhere.

But beyond that I'm even in a community that plays classic games and no one knows about it, just Out of This world.
I'm not saying it's the best game EVARRR but I'm surprised the number of people that haven't even heard of it.

Considering I played DW: Gundam 2 as soon as it came out and only ever found ONE guy in my many days of trying to find a match, I'd sya no one is playing that now, since no one played it THEN.

I was wondering to myself "Have all the Japanese people being ninjering their way to millions of points? They all could've stopped, but how did people in Western countries get that high on leaderboards too??!?!"

Killer7 on GCN.
What does GCN mean?

You will kick yourself.
It is a common mistake I see. Right up there with people saying "Laura Croft".
Unless this is all a conspiracy against me...

Also, sadly I couldn't get into Killer7 form what I saw. But I like No More Heroes.

Lord of the rings; war in the north.

I can see why...I mean, it's a fantasy action rpg that came out at the same time as skyrim. It was doomed.

For what it's worth, it's a fairly satisfying if a little simple hack and slash game, although whether you like it will really depend on how much of a LOTR fan you are.

And it gets bonus points for letting me play as a dwarf. Not enough games allow that these days...

Orcs Must Die! and Payday: The Heist.
I just gotta say, I got orcs must die in the sale last week, and I absolutely love it. The humour, the traps, the stategy, allowing you to take an active role in the battle, it's brilliant.

I see a lot of people mentioning games which are not obscure at all and probably lots of people are playing, but I guess that's what happens when you have small reference pools [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SmallReferencePools].

As for me, I'm not sure if anyone is playing Prehistorik Man, but I definitely am. Also, a more recent game, Gameloft's-surprisingly-good-Castlevania-clone Soul of Darkness.

As for obscure games I have played but I never hear anyone mention, I'll go with Superhero League of Hoboken. God, I loved that game, it was hilarious. I really wish GOG would release it, because there's no way I'll ever find it again anywhere else.
