Fear not, the fact he shot the guy for no reason jumped his charges up ALOT. And they got his face, so it's a matter of time.

The Gamestop clerk probably wouldn't shut up about extended warranties and protective covers for the console.

Why people have this unmitigated hate for Gamestop, I'll never know. I work there and I have yet to see an unethical business practice or mistreatment of customers.
well 1) it's not exactly unmitigated, but 2) I'm sure there are good stores out there, the two closest to me showcase a good example and a pretty bad example...maybe GameStop isn't bad looking at percentages, but store quality isn't exactly based off 50/50 standards

I think it's obvious that this guy just hates gamestop.

Sucks to be the guy that got shot though. Maybe he can get a record deal as a rapper.
I`m afraid he`s only been shot once , these days you have to be shot at least 4 times before the record companies give you so much as a look in XD
well thats only for mainstream rappers. Getting shot once qualifies him for "underground" rap which will cause hundreds to proclaim he is "more real" than mainstream rappers. Look at 50 cent. Shot nine times and has no artistic credibility, but heavily marketable.

What a douche. He could have stolen a better console.
No. No. NO. You see, this is a dream scenario. Now when some overzealous soccer mom says "video games cause people to become violent", we can be like "Really? You play Wii Fit. Are you going to go shoot up a PTA meeting because you play video games too! The guy who shot the Gamestop clerk plays Wii, which MAKES YOU JUST LIKE HIM!"

well... sucks to be that guy, I suppose.
I feel sorry for him, sure... but what can we do when assholes can have their own guns?
Is it just me or does some idiot always try to start this debate anytime a story involving a real gun is brought up in this forum?

I worked at a GameCrazy in a shitty neighborhood... my manager (ex-army) also kept a loaded .357 in the safe. Wish that guy had my manager, then maybe the bullet would have ended up in the right person.

Thank you for taking the time to make a post and call me an idiot.
Your compliments are always appreciated.
And if you were wondering, by 'assholes', I meant people who go rob a store. They have the right to bare arms, but they are assholes and decide to rob a store.
Good day, and please feel free to call me an idiot again in the future ;)
Of course, insults tend to be frowned upon, but right now I have more to worry about than some random person on a forum calling me an idiot.

I take it a Gamestop employee killed your family? No, just no.

I think he's a terminal loon. No hope for this one, he'll probably die in a shootout or doing something even more stupid.

Apparently not, because you took the time to reply. If I were quoted out of context by someone who made a reasonable assumption given the language of my post but misjudged the meaning, I'd probably have ignored it.

... I'm not good at apologies, if that even is what I'm even trying to do here.

I shop there and it is pretty good. then again, my father had to yell at them to get the manager to be the only person that actually works instead of just standing around.

OT: hope the guy get's better soon.

Nah, I have other things to worry about, but I prefer to ignore them because I am a coward ;)
And no need to apologise. We are both taking time to reply to each other.
So... do you live in America? Do you own any guns?

Y'know, theres not much to say here. The robbers a bit of an asshole, 'nuff said.

I mean, at least be sporting if robbing someone.
The funniest would be to say thanks as you walk outside the door.

OT: I guess the gunman was violent and felt like he needed to shoot someone. If he was angry, the clerk would have been dead.
