Hypnosis
Why can every question about metal gear be answered with "nanomachines"?

Why the Terrorists in CS:S feel the need to destroy so many innocent wooden boxes.

And why the Counter-Terrorists don't just get a bucket of soapy water and scrub the giant red X off the floor and the directions to said X from the walls, leaving the T's somewhat lacking a target.

If the chimera originated in Russia, but excavated a tower in europe, and can turn humans into them, are they alien or human?

In the beginning of Resistance, when Nathan looks at the photograph of the Soldiers from Project Abraham, what the fuck is that thing in the window?
Holy crap, I had missed that. It could be just wood panelling, although with Project Abraham being what it is, I vote for "more sinister".

We know that at least the bulk of the Chimera are humans, since infected humans are changed into Chimera (theres also some disturbing reports that dead Chimera have been found with personal belongings, such as a teddy bear, a pack of cards, and even a bible - this indicates that either they just naturally scavenge, or there is still something human inside, which is just too awful to picture). They supposedly reproduce solely through the spread of the virus, making the whole species technically a virus. The three strongest theories are that they were a pre-human species that had lain dormant in Siberia and were woken up by the Tunguska Event, a strain of mutagenic virus that was spread into the Siberian atmosphere by the asteroid that caused the Tunguska event, or a biological weapon the Czar had developed that got out of hand, and the Tunguska event was the method of testing it. (The last theory is the most stupid, as its assumes that engineering diseases was up and running in Russia in the 1800's). None of those make them aliens, unless you also count the zombies in Shaun of the Dead to be aliens too.
In previews of Resistance 2, don't they show giant starships hovering over like San Francisco or something?

One of gamings greatest mysteries must be why Mario goes through all the trouble of saving Peach when she barely says thank you.
I think the real mystery is: How can Peach not have learned from the first billion times she got kidnapped ?

It turns out thats a retarded idea and you're an idiot for believing it. Theres always a more logical explanation.

Why is it that the pokedex (and basic biology for that matter) describe Kangaskhan as giving live birth and carrying the baby around in its pouch until it's old enough to go out on its own, yet when you breed kangaskhans, they produce an egg, which subsequently hatches into a full-grown kangaskhan with a baby already in its pouch? (gasps for breath)

NANOMACHINES! That's the answer to every mystery. Ever. That's what's in the photo, that's why they have lipstick. I hear it great when the tuning fork does a hari kiri rock. I need scissors. 61!

(No, not the actual quote, fuck you. I am the milk man. My milk is delicious)
And the world will drown, in his wrath!

So you don't have to carry a baby in your bag, therefore saving space.

Why does the hero/ine feel the sudden urge to walk into the most obvious trap ever?

Yes, and in Resistance they showed Carriers. However, both of these were designed and manufactured by the Chimera in the 40-something years they were on earth. The reason they can't be Aliens is cause if they were, they would have brought some decent resources with them. If they had decent resources, they would have Spired the crap out of the earth before they even came into orbit.
Ok, I've never actually played Resistance. I should just shut my trap, heheh.

On-topic: Why the hell is Donkey Kong called Donkey Kong? What does he have to do with Donkeys?
