Because of this ad, I am going out to buy a pack of Oreos.

I want to support Kraft's decision to support gay pride. I will do so with my wallet. My reward - the knowledge that I have made a difference.

And a pack of double-stuff Oreo deliciousness, obviously. ^^

I'm now buying two packets of Oreos and sharing the excess and urging people to buy their own when I'd usually buy one packet to do my part to make up for the haters no longer giving their business.

This is why I'm no longer religious.

Scrolls written by bronze-age tribal savages that practiced deity-sanctioned genocide, rape and slavery translating into the modern age as rednecks becoming offended and outraged over a snack food producer owned by Phillip Morris (the cigarette manufacturer) proves it's all just a bunch of bullshit.

Then again... conservatives boycotting Kraft will be a good thing for them. The south won't be a mjority of overweight diabetics.
Yep, because clearly the only reason these people are being homophobic is because they are religious. It's obviously not because they're dicks.

A friend of mine decided to send gay porn to like 30 of those people outraged by Oreo. I thought it was hilarious.

Anyways, fuck you, Oreo. I am fucking boycotting you for making a rainbow cookie. That does not exist. I need that in my mouth. I want to taste the rainbow without having to get some skittles.

To be fair, who'd want to try and shove that kinda cookie in their mouth? ...Okay joking aside.
I'm surprised these people aren't already opposed to oreos given it's black and white together.
...Okay maybe there is no joking aside besides calling these people idiots. Maybe someone should enlighten them that computers were fathered by a gay man.

I think Kraft's support of Gay rights is awesome. Unfortunately I kinda hate double stuffed oreos, so six layers of creme seems totally gross to me, lol. Go them anyway though.

It's all rooted in religious dogma, otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I tell ya' the REAL problem is gays tryin' take our rainbow! Why!? Cause they know there's gold at the end of it. That's how they make their money! Next thing you know they'll be taking skittles (and I love me some skittles) and makin' it all gay and stuff. That's where the REAL fight is, the rainbow. God made the rainbow for men and women to enjoy, not gays. Think about it people. What's gon happen to cartoons, HD movies, computer wall papers! If they take all the color. Hell, now that I think about it, Escapist has lots of colors round 'ere. They'll knock us all back to black and white (ya know like an oreo) in no time at all, If we don't start talking about the REAL issues here people. PLEASE!!

As for the original post, good on them for supporting gay pride in the face of religious homophobes.

You know what i'm going to boycott Kraft about this. Not because i'm a homophobe heck no but it's supposed to be a rainbow oreo and the rainbow has seven colors and they missed one. It's not that hard just remember Richard (red) Of ( orange) York (yellow) Gave (green) a Battle(blue) In(indigo) Vain(violet) or ROYGBIV if you'd sooner think of it that way. So I ask you Kraft ltd. tell me WHY NO VIOLET.
ps. yes I know the gay pride flag only has six but screw it i'm makng a stand and i'm going to boycott them next.

I shall take this moment to dispense to you the recipe for the best Oreo containing treat ever (aside from plain oreo and milk obviously).

Get one 9x13 cooking pan (US units)
Get a ton of chocolate chip cookie dough (2 of those premade cookie dough rolls should do)
One box of Oreos (You will use most of the box, no snacking!)
one bowl of brownie batter (really any kind will do)

Spread the cookie dough on the bottom of the pan and cover the dough with the Oreo. Like I said before, most of the box will fit in there. Pour the brownie batter on top, evenly coating the cookies. Bake at 450 degrees fahrenheit for 30 to 45 minutes. The brownie batter should be cooked on the outside but still liquid inside (Like a chocolate syrup).

Serve hot or cold. Either is delicious, cold is just less of a mess since the temperature drop causes the brownie goo to congeal.
You forgot the final step; Lose a foot to diabetes.

You know there's the whole being able to normally reproduce thing... which is kind of huge
And again, I'm principally for equal rights for anyone, but there are two options as to what "gay" is:

a) It's behavioral and developed over time, in which case it is a socio-economic thing influenced by early years, learning process and environment/parents etc. in which case people can either ?become? gay or straight and it could be prevented by better understanding of what leads to this behavioral change, there are other sexual tendencies like this: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/adf0b17f0d/people-sexually-attracted-to-inanimate-objects and they are still considered ?weird?.
Whatever floats your boat, but maybe try NOT propagating through every media channel available and while dancing through the streets how ?awesome? your sexual preference is and how everyone has to love you for it, and that for everyone.

b) People usually don?t like the first option, in which case It can only be a genetic thing/being born that way, in which case it is just an abnormality like any other (e.g. not the norm).
There is all sorts of abnormalities, people being born with skin conditions, extra limbs, frail bones, having low tolerance for water or sun, bodily/mentally challenged etc.
Yet again, everyone should be treated with respect and should have equal rights, and be able to live a normal life, but despite all that you can?t overcome feeling sorry for some people inside.
I know if it was me and my kids and if I might drift into eugenics and with gene manipulation a reality, I?d like for them to be immune to sicknesses, in perfect health, not be prone to obesity and also in other ways being ?normal? (which also includes both bodily and mentally being able to procreate)
And people can talk about equality and tolerance all day long, but given a hypothetical choice between functional sexuality or not I?d always pick the first.
Fun fact, we also try and give equal rights to people who have 'abnormalities' like skin colour variations. While completely unintentional, your argument for Eugenics also implies you'd attempt to whiten up a half-black baby so it's 'normal'. Of course, you're now going to refute this but that is exactly how it comes across, to me anyway, admittedly I might be over sensitive but that one hits close to home. Can't speak for everyone but I know people with mental or physical 'abnormalities' who just live life, I damn sure don't feel sorry for them because that's not treating them equally it's treating them as inferior.

If you want to breed and make kids, fine, I know plenty of heterosexual people who use contraceptives so I guess that means we aren't functional sexually either.

Also, this was just off the top of my head http://uk.reuters.com/article/2009/03/31/uk-eu-homophobia-idUKTRE52U1OD20090331 this is why they still need to 'shove it down your throat' because there are OTHER people who would beat the shit out of them for loving someone of the same gender. So hey, if you want to avoid Pride parades could always go to Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Poland or Romania.

Reporting on facebook comments? C'mon Escapist. That's not news. Every time something of even remote controversy pops up on a popular social network like facebook comments on it are going to be full of ridiculous polarizing statements. That doesn't make it news.

Yeah it's sad, but its exactly what we expect.

Actually the last step is: Eat very small portions and limit yourself to at most 2 a day.
