Oh well, trailer was awesome.Will that be the only enjoyable thing to come out of this decades Duke?
At this point I can just imagine the meeting that went on. Just that sinking feeling in teh pit of your stomach when you realize after ALL that, you were going to delay it again.
Dev A:"Guys we have to delay Duke Nukem Forever, it's just not ready."

Fine by me, it's obviously not ready yet and needs some more polishing (I know, shush).
From a personal standpoint it's cool since I was worried I'd be overloaded with games the next two months, so the pace is improved

I'll say that I hope this is the last delay, but given DN:F's track record I won't be surprised it it's another 12 years.

I was looking forward for Duke Nukem to be my first game to play in the awesome month that is May,before other fantastic games come out(Witcher 2,Hunted the Demon's Forge,Fable 3 on PC,Dungeon Siege 3).
Oh well,what's a few more weeks after more than a decade of waiting.Right?..RIGHT? *goes into a rage and leaves the room*

In no way is it going to live up to it's development cycle, and anyone that expects it too is a fool. But it does appear to at least be a decent game.
Why? It's not like the people excited for release of it are touting it as going to be the best game ever. In fact it's been made pretty clear by every preview I read about it that it seems like a fairly average shooter, It'll probably hoover around the 7-8 area.jpoon said:

Well, now I'll have more time to enjoy the new Mortal Kombat. Well, after 14 years, like you said, a few more weeks to make sure the game can go to it's full potential doesn't bother me.
Just for shits and giggles mainly, and because of the group of people that think it's gonna bring back the "fun shooters". Actually I will likely be one of the people getting (renting) the game but the bullshit hype machine has little effect in this example because I know the game is going to be a ho-hum average game, Killzone 3 all over again.SaneAmongInsane said:
